A more interesting study would be one that explored whether this was like FGM; encouraged by women thinking this is what men want but ultimately men don't care for. Because I really don't understand how anyone could find these unnaturally pasty faces attractive.

A study is not needed for this. Brainwashed idiot men like to think women with FGM are not as sexually excited (just look at some of the boys on here) and that they are cleaner - not definitive. Having your genitals disturbed doesn't make a woman less capable of feeling excitement, she is probably just more terrified of engaging because of the pain/embarrassment associated with the first encounter.
