There has been a lot of infrastructure and development including the port and airport which are all as a result of the decisions made by the government and their successful diplomacy. They've managed to restore a level of trust with the international community and therefore a lot more people are now willing to invest in Somalia as a result of this diplomatic work around the world. They've also put into place the mechanisms we need for nation building. What they're doing is building the foundations, it takes time, Rome wasn't built in a day.

There's also the back to school programme where they've put somewhere around million children back to school. Each ministry has to be accountable so they've set up committees made up of MPs to ensure that the ministries are performing as they should. By so doing they've created some level of accountability which didn't exist in other governments.

The central bank is up and running which has led to private banks openign up and being able to function.

I could go on and on and we could look at each ministry in turn. It's not perfect and if we're being honest neither are Western countries. The institutions that need building will take time but they are under way, let's not take a bulldozer just as foundations are being put into place. Now is the time to come together and rally towards progress and a brighter future for all Somalis.

Zumaale, no one want wahabian criminal regime or fascist khawarij state.
Somalia is dead tho.

I want Hawiyeland to be democratic free country. Do you want to cover up? Ur choice!
Do u want to uncover? Your choice!
Hawiyeland must protect minority rights, apostate rights and feminist rights.
Its a liberal country.

@Khaalid

if you read this quote from an early 90s article. you can understand The MJs does not want Somaliland to rejoing somalia ever again. When abdirahman tuur and omar arte (vice president of aided and prime minister of ali mahdi) went mogadishu, Mj realised that They can not influence somalia politics if isaaqs are involved.
The Majerteens have opposed
recognition for an independent
Republic of Somaliland , hoping to
be able to rule over the Republic
of Somaliland themselves from
Mogadishu. In early March 1993,
they reversed this position and now
privately favor recognition for the
Republic of Somaliland. The reason
is that they realistically fear that
any new Government in Mogadishu
over all of the former Somalia
would more likely be an alliance
between the Isaqs in the Republic
of Somaliland and the non-Darod
clans in the former Italian Somalia
– which would squeeze them out of
power.

Without unification with the
Republic of Somaliland, the chances
are better for them to obtain a
Darod-based Government in
Mogadishu. They have even
recently been offering the position
of Prime Minister to the large and
important Rahanweyn group of
clans, that otherwise would not
accept either a Darod or Hawiye
based Government in Mogadishu.

I see people like to exaggeratethings. Is there hope for south-central Somalia ? Of course yes. Compare this year to 2010 and see how much we progressed. To be honest it's the international community who are holding us back. The keys to success are getting rid of AMISOM ASAP, lifting the arms embargo, getting some kind military aid from the West till self-sufficiency, keeping the SNA satisfied with regular paychecks. Make the country overall secure and peaceful and everything will be fine. There are more than enough natural resources to turn the country to a 1st world nation.

The Yusuuf there is nothing the MJ should be afraid of Somalilanders have left Somalia so there is no fear for a Somaliland Hawiye alliance its neither here nor there. The MJS policies are as i told you to use pl to create some sort of balanced power in Mogadishu pl will remain independent in all but name it will try to use the Somalia name while being separated similar with the tigres have in Ethiopia remember Tigray region leads Ethiopia the defacto capital of Ethiopia is Meqelle Tigray region has special privileges other regions dont have .I have listened to abdiweli gaas in an interview he uses the Ethiopian model of Federalism. i know MJS very well there is a bigger chance Hawiyes abandoning Mogadishu than Majeerteen abandoning the blue flag

MJ is all for Isaaq independence, we have nothing to lose from it. The problem is that Hawiye does not want to be in a country alone with Darood totally focused on Xamar. Hawiye would lose a valuable ally, something they are not willing to do.
I totally support Isaaq secession, less distractions.
