Wow, today of all days you post this. You are psychic Oprah
Outwardly, I always put on my usual happy face.
How do I get over it? If I interpret the situation as "is my ego threatened?" (which it always is) I tend to let go of it rather easily. The trick is I have to be calm enough to reflect.
I keep intending on continuously practicing mindfulness but it's just so much easier not to lol.

From experience I can tell you that there is nothing a hayao miyazaki movie can't cure, you'll be dancing in the rain with joy in no time.

I lash out when I am feeling sad, to the person who made me sad/heartbroken/disappointed. I will say not nice things to them, I will try to belittle them and them feel small. I don't care if I come across immature, they have to feel what I am feeling. I will throw tantrums until they either break down and apologize or things escalate to different things. I don't usually get sad about random people though, only the ones that are close to me. I could care less about others.

Jasminder all of them are amazing, but since you're in a tearjerker mood, try Grave of the Fireflies... tugs at my heart.

Damn, studio ghilbi productions are amazing. The Wind Rises is bitter sweet, shame about the Mrs.
Jasmine, Howl's Moving Castle is a good lift me up, you will not be disappointed.

Princess Monoke is cool too and it does cater to adult tastes. Slightly blasphemous though somaha. You got to admire the artistry in these productions, got a classic feel to them in comparison to other animes.
