There are northerners like samatar, galaydh who are third way and are calling for a south-north power sharing

But there's an agenda of north having a separate govt in post-2016(federate region with its own govt like zinjibar)

So dir card is not that strong in the south and may come to end soon

But it works till the next elections.
nah sorry walaal apparently there is only one option that the majority of somalilanders want (me not included) and it is full independence. the population is very sophisticated and believe any type of union with the south however loose will be completely unacceptable.

another point is that it makes no sense for xamar to claim somaliland and somalia is one yet antagonize somaliland's main clan (isaaq) by mythically being part of the dir clan when we are our own clan, the second largest clan in the union after hawiye. isaaq unionists must make sure isaaq has the same number of cabinet members, parliamentarians e.g. as hawiye, raxanweyn, dir, and the cursed langaab jeberti

There's a clan problem in our governance

Most peope don't know that its the president who represents the leadership not the pm

It comes a problem when the pm is acting as the president "bc of representing another clan" as they are the ones who pushing him to act such way

The current crisis is the proof of pm lacking diplomatic support so why not work with the president?

Can this be solved if the president switches the clans and have a pm who knows his limitations?

This video shows the lack of communication between the president and his pm

President had a meeting with the US diplomats at the airport to inform them the progress(though she says they were not happy on the slow-paced of the state building)

During the meeting the pm was travalling to abroad and he tried to use the VIP lounge

He didn't know the meeting and the presence of oher security in there

Finally she says both of them are from two different clans and are testing each others power!

The question should be who is suited for Somalia, be it president or PM.

Not the title Sahal used; and besides I dont think any pm can work with the president, since he is not able to work out solutions either with mudane shirdoon nor mudane Abdiweli. Even if a third pm is picked; there will be missunderstanding but the question is can we afford such things? Or should the president just resign and let someone competent take over and select new pm.

Wrong!

We are not talking about somalia or what can desirably be replaced by the current regime

This govt is there till 2016

Simply what pm suits this president or dj in general

Is not about principles rather finding political solution for the govt

Reforming the constitution can be a radical solution.

Political solutions who brings more political infighting? Sxb the goverment needs to be saved from its self. It has little value and can be changed tomorow.

Thus this political "fight " might be a blessing for us who wants stable and strong Somalia.

It's funny, because the entire topic is hate towards Darod. The irony is he is not even a man who can talk for Hassan Sh on a tribal basis.

lol wallahi marada waa tooran rabtaa!

I'm tribally closer to hassan than you but that's not my point

Political coalition exists every where

Favouring certain political coalition means for you a hate for the rest!

Wheres this logic exists?

According to your logic your subclan was not favoured over other regions for political reasons lol

I'm calling for a stable governance understood it as you may like!.

I think we have a constant communication problem bro. I don't speak Arabic and you don't comprehend English well.

I can't try to tediously clarify every single meaning and nuance of my statements to you.

I believe I gave you the right answers!

Keep your opinion for yourself but don't try to put me as you want

In this political thread I talked about many regions not just one region and the somali political system is based on 4.5

If any clan fits that system and talking about it you can't say its against certain clan.

One moment Sahal is saying that president should not nominate somebody from Gedo by that he means Marehan and another moment he says the president needs to name a PM that is with the agenda of DJ, a PM that doesn't over-power the president. But one thing that Sahal has failed is to read the provisional constitutions, because last time I checked the person in the wrong is the president. The PM is just doing his job and the law allows him to do that.

So keep obsessing with 'Gedo' or DJ or whatever illiterate rants you throw around. What I find funny is how Sahal is staunch supporter of Xassan Culusoow because his mother hails the same clan as Sahal, and then we have Abdiwahab supporting Saacid because his wife is from the same clan as Abdiwahab, that is how desperate certain people are that they support an individual on the bases of the clan of a lady, last time I checked a Naag qabiil malaha. You won't see a Marehan person supporting Daahir Aweys because he is mother is Marehan. Caadi iska dhiga!

Lol all you said has nothing to do with my position rather with political believes.

Sxb if you have no political believes don't accuse the others!.

I'm a centralist

I just made this comment yesterday in some site

One technical error, I forgot alif in mawaqifim
