I sympathize with them. My cousins did this trip. They are safe in London now after their stay in Greece

I call on the Western hating Somalis to swap places with their cousins who make this risky voyage. Less Western hating and more one way trips back to the motherland

I never talk to my bros but I really care about my sisters. I got 2 sisters with qurbe buufis syndrome one in burao and the other one in galkacyo. I try to calaacal as much as I can to let them know I have no line to take them out. I usually give them hope that our counry is moving forward "walalo anba waan soo noqonaya qurba joogtu yagaaba idinku soo yaacaya dalkeena nimcaa fadhida wait for a while finish your education first" I tell them how laangaab I feel in qurbaha because I am well educated but rarely work because of lack of the opportunaties I deserve.

Usually I top up their Zaad and Sahal when ever they need a quick cash. I buy every thing they need for themselves like Galaxy phones, laptops. Jewelery any book they ask on earth, cosmatics. The hardest thing is when my Eedo said "waar hablihii way qaangaadheen raga wadanka joogana ma rabaane rag wanaagsan usoo raadi" I said what the phuk eedo how can I do that, honestly I shocked walaahi, I give them every thing I can and now they want me to bring their choice of men from qurbaha. I swear I wont do that never!!. local hardworking men are 100 times better than cheating jobless qurbo joogs like me, now I understand why some qolqol joogis do rape girls, hablihii wadanku way kibreen walaahi.

Yusef....the buufis syndrome is real.
ps Somali traffickers have gotten in on the act....they will take the youth all the way from Somalia to the med on credit.
That's why I believe it not always ransom money but a scam....to pay off middle men...and a boat ticket across the med.

The thing I don't understand is all these people dying to get to the UK so they can get a job sweeping floors or something, and spending a fortune doing so. Couldn't they spend those tens of thousands of dollars starting a business in Somalia or Eritrea or Sudan? o_O

Yeah, to start a business in Somalia is easy. Somalis are very good at business, but the question--what kind of a business can u really get into among beggers? I mean- u can open a shop and put goods but no customers to buy. People are poor there. Not to mention, no security. U can work whole day, and when u close your store, someone comes shoots u for your cash for the day. Its easy to be PC nationalist, but lets real. looool

accualy, basra making good point! but there is some places , other than mogadishu are safe such somaliland, puntland etc.

plus poors do not afford tahrib money which at times over 10k. only people who can afford who take this risk.

Soulless Somalis profit from this, they act as middle men between the Libyans gangstas and the tahriib captives. Poor tahribers better of staying put in hargeisa etc etc

OD, nothing one can do but to keep paying, and then later advising your tol of the dangers etc

Starkast......We've been told by folk in the know around the border regions.
That Somali's are offering to take gullible youngsters across the border on credit.
When in fact they're in league with the Libyan Bedouin's, and deliver them straight into captivity.
We now suspect my cousin was lured by these Somali's....he and other young runaway's all left Jigjiga together.

Yeah man, i know of many cases, libya and specially its cities resemble little law and order. Alot of these Tahribers get put in underground "jails", Your account sounds totallly plausible lots of Somalis are affiliated with these Bedouin gangstas, they also have a network all across somali regions.

Somalis/blacks before during the cival war, were kidnapped and imprisoned due to fears of them being mercenaries for the colonel .

Sharafi dhimatay jeermis cadaw How ever same goes to the most third world and second world countries even some EU members. There are thousands of women from spain and eastern eastern Europe who do tahriib to take more dangarous jobs in western europe like Escorts . There are millions of indian pakis and chinnese who smuggle themselves via Commercial ships just to work kebab an kung fu shobs in the west. There are the south americans who would take any risk to get into the US .

You western gaalos are rich and your countries sytem is is very loose to attract poor people around the globe. The arabs are rich too but the reason somalis dont usualy tahriib there is immigration system and human rights situation in Arabia is very tough for Noble but poor people like us. I would rather take welfare check from phuking british theif who stole a lot from my country back to 50 years ago than work for a fat arab biitch.

Most somalis hide their face when doing odd jobs like sweeping in your countries. We are phuking broke noble people "Gob jabtay" and insha allah we will become rich countries "Gaal dil gartiisana sii" We will give you Gaalos a hard time if you dont take care us Now ! this is "Abaal" we will pay back !
