is it just me or is this completely unislamic. wasn't the reason muslims were told not to depict the prophet so that he couldn't be worshipped?

these violent outbursts by alleged muslims because some non-muslim insult our prophet just shows me these people didn't listen to what the prophet said. you are supposed to worship God, not prophet muhammed. the reason we are banned from depicting him is so we would not worship him. muslims have no turned prophet muhammad's non-depiction into a form of worship where they will kill or protest if someone draws him.

I'm not even sure the rule against non-depiction even applies to non-believers? wallahi muslims have become worshippers of muhammad moreso than christians worship jesus with antics like this.
