I agree with you about the Washington D.C. Somalis. Most of them are very untrustworthy people to be around, and are backstabbers to the core. Many Somalis from the DMV area travel north to Canada where they date some of the vulnerable Somali girls who just love American-Somali guys. They manipulate them, tell them they want to marry them, and sleep with them. I've witnessed this first-hand, and some of those "Pledgemere" guys from Washington D.C. are the main culprits here. Manipulators to the core.

Toronto Somalis have a serious identity crisis, with most of them acting in ways they shouldn't act. On 1 extreme, you have Somalis who imitate Arabs and say "Yacnii" after every word. They dress like Arabs, talk like them, and constantly dream about moving to an Arab country. On the other extreme, you have Somalis who imitate Adoons and get caught up in the gangster lifestyle. Some of the girls start dating Adoon men, and in some neighborhoods you have Somalis and Adoons even befriending each other.

Edmonton Somalis are very corrupt. The Somalis there still associate with one another, but almost all of them either drink, smoke, party and have sex. Their crime rate was really bad a few years back, but it's gotten much better now. I've noticed that most of them lack motivation as well.

Ottawa Somalis are better than Toronto/Edmonton Somalis. They're far more educated and more successful. And this is because of the lack of Adoon influence in Ottawa. There's not that many Adoons in that city, so the Somalis were free from that negative influence. However, the Somalis in Ottawa often lack a connection to their Deen, which is very problematic.

And for Canada, I've been to both Toronto and Ottawa. Toronto is just one open big ghetto, with its broken down and debilitated buildings and roads. Ottawa was little nicer, but you'd have to watch out for roving Djiboutian juvenile gangs who harass people.

First of all Ottawa Somalis are much more religious and down to earth than Toronto Somalis. Mashallah they have a lot of programs that are suited and geared towards the Youth. Like every winter break and march break they have MBA, it's basically a Somali basketball league/tournament and it's main focus is keeping those niggas off the streets and in the gyms during the breaks. They have a lot of other masjid programs too. More Ottawa niggas attend university too mashallah. Even though Toronto has this MBA thing a lot of niggas don't do it.


Toronto Somalis you're right they do try to act hard. But tbh it's just being a product of their envoirment. Sri Lankans, AFGs, Guyanese and even the f-king asians all try to act hard in Toronto. Thats how Toronto is. You can't just put the finger on adoons. Theres a lot of rough neighbourhoods and its a big city. Lots of drug dealing happens and theres alotta gangs. Problems like this occur in all big cities (NY, LA, Chicago, etc). Let's not forget Toronto is the 4th largest city in NA. Ottawa like Ohio said is a much smaller community and EVERYONE knows each other. Also theres nothing wrong with being friends with adooons tf. Stop being a coon and racist

Ohio Somalis= Mareexaan central. Every Mareexaan in North America either lives in Ohio, or he has close family who live in Ohio. Somalis there have plenty of businesses, and live concentrated in one section of the city. Their Af-Somaali and awareness of Somali culture is much higher than I would have expected otherwise. Don't know much about them other than that.

Minnesota Somalis= Half Fob, Half Americanized. Somalis there also own plenty of businesses, and there are many successful Somalis who are based out in Minneapolis. Plenty of community outreach groups, masjids, and other social venues for the Somalis who live there. Very friendly people for the most part. Darood dominated.

Atlanta Somalis=Somali community in ATL is diverse. Some of the Somalis have assimilated right into American culture, while other neighborhoods have Somalis who are insular and only associate amongst each other.

London Somalis=Very outgoing friendly people. However, they're not as successful financially as the Somalis of North America. They tend to be closer to their Somali culture, and many of them speak openly about moving back to Somalia one day. Those are my experiences with them.

Australia Somalis= Very strange people, no offense to anyone from Australia. But the guys from Australia are very odd.

What the fuck are you talking about? Have you ever even lived in Toronto? When I see Somali teenaged girls speaking in Jamaican slang, how else am I supposed to label that? When a Somali man wearing cornrows and having baggy clothes is a normal sight, what else am I supposed to call that?

From my experience, the Ottawa Somalis seemed to be a lot more liberal than the Toronto Somalis. But that's just my experience in dealing with them. But yes, I do agree that they're overall far more successful than their Toronto counterparts.

And you wanna talk about "rough neighborhoods" even though Toronto is one of the most livable cities in the world. Even your so-called "rough" neighborhoods aren't bad at all. Trust me I've been there myself. There's no excuse for this violent culture that's running rampant amongst our community. And yes you're right, the Sri Lankans, Jamaicans and Guyanese are ALL violent as well. It's not just Somalis.
