That's not true. Most reer waqooyi people have a basic understanding of Southern tribes. we don't share a common dialect, we don't share land. We don't even live in the same neighbourhoods. Even my self I did not know any southern tribes except for HG and Abgaal. I use to call everyone xamari. Until my Abgaal friend told me xamari are cad cad people. This is how it works in the UK especially if your under 30. People don't ask what tribe are you, Instead they would ask you are are lander or are you somali. Most young people from the south only know hargeisa. If your from Somaliland they would think your from hargeisa. And if your from Somalia they would think your from xamar.
