these talks will end with Kulmiye leaving the office this year. Sl has nothing to gain from these, somalia gets more aid from international community.

Lol@ the SFG can just wait. This cuqdadle makes it sound like xamar is more stable today than 5 or 6 years ago. It is still an alshabab overrun, NGO government AU colony. Time is the last thing these people have.

S/L was exporting livestock under British rule for over 60 years, and during all that time they didn't even build a single bridge in Hargeisa.
It took intervention by the Somali Republic to end the annual deaths due to flash flooding.

Just one example out of hundreds I could point to.

We just went along with the talks because the IC wanted these talks now they will come with other talks more serious one in the near future. The walanweyns have already used their cards which was to prolong these talks now that the talks officially has failed the ball is in the court of the European union.
And this guy is amongst the best political analysts SL have inaalillahi.
The ball is in the court of EU ku yiri. This sad nigga actually thinks europeans care about SL.
I don't even understand why SFG is wasting valuable time negotiating with SL if they aren't willing to recognize them.
They should just ignore them just, like the rest of the world.

Who said anything about caring the eu came With these talks now the talks have failed they will come With re newed talks or there wont be any talks. Gjamac 2016 is nearing and I believe the west wants some where 2016 an ageement to be reached the reason why somalias intereror minister is so eager to hold talks and sl is relaxed and Is in no rush shows Who needs Who.

Advo very creative lol but the situation is much more complex

Sahal saaxib I dont know but does dj Just want to waste time its been 2 years and no improvements have been made u would say the to side need to reach an ageement and I dont see that happening With out a 3rd party do u

Lol is there more any waste of time than engaging in a northern issues?

These talks were started by the TFG ala sheekh respecting the UKs london conference on somalia

It was ala sheekh intellectuals in the diaspora who have picked turkey as the best place to host the talks

This govt though is a recognized govt and no "diplomatic pressure" can be used against her has continued the talks for financial reasons like the second london conference, the new deal, turkeys role in somalia

Infact turkey is the only country that the govt respects her since it pays her $4m a month plus its security contribution and the development in general

Govt doesn't respect anymore the wesren countries and their probaganda for somalia like general elections, new deal

All that matters is IGAD and they support somalias sovereignty and integral territory for geopolitical reasons

Already their banks pay directly to the govt

So I don't think mr biixi who has failed to arrest or deport sultan wabar from ethiopi can do shyt about a government like somalia lol

the status quo works for Somaliland. intl community support our democratization process companies are investing even with somali govt trying to curb it and sabotage. Remember that Chinese company that was bringing out minerals and sfg was trying to stop it. Well they couldn't stop it.

Somalia on the other hand has a deadline of 2016 or risk backlash. Federalism will be difficult to implement. Naming the federal states is the easy part. having them pay taxes. rotate power between different clans within the states. knowing their powers and that of the central govt. Will cause problems. And the airspace is going to remain in u.n hands till their is a resolution
