Reza Aslan is actually not a Muslim. He's a cultural "Muslim " and he admitted it himself during an interview with The Young Turks.

We shouldn't have a soft nominal "Muslim" like Reza Aslan represent us. There are tons of qualified and educated Muslim scholars who are able to articulate themselves much better than Reza Aslan. Funny how Bill Maher refuses to invite them on his show.....smh
