And Grumpy no those companies are not from the east. None of them have anything substantial in that zone. Dahabshiil hails from there but he made his money in the West. When he came to us he was running a small bakhaar. Deero is the same and in fact deero made the break through from Djibouti.
Omaar is from Gabiley. He is Jibril Abokor and is probably larger than the other two. He keeps his things on the low low but I know people from inside his circle. His sons run the company from Dubai these days and he retired in Gabiley. Very lowkey odaay.
He has tuna factory in Thailand, Timber in Brazil, steel comes from a plant in eastern Europe and goods from India.
He supplies the Ethiopian, Somaliland, Djibouti and Wanlawein market with all construction goods from timber/wood to steel. He recently started hawalaad too.
Omaar used to employ Deero (AUN). That's how he started.
Omaar companies

You do talk a lot of sh!t that you dont have a clue about..
Indhodeero is old money and had money way before Hargeisa was anything. He made his money under the former regime in Xamar but always kept his headquarters in Burco. Nothing has changed and he still contributes hugely towards Burco regardless what he has invested in Hargeisa. Tomorrow Xamar will stand up and he will invest in it too, just like Hargeisa with no sentimental value, but Burco will always be home. As this Jabouti theory we folks from the East have very little to do with Jabouti and indhodeero was always Somalia before or after the state collapsed.
As for Dahabshill he made his money by delivering small amounts of money from the seamen in London who were sending money back to their loved once. Evenetually turning it into a multimillion pound business through dedication. How you concluded that he made any money from the few folks in Hargeisa when the truth is man for man reer Burco have always had more people over seas is just plain dishonest...
What you struggle to understand is that people from Burco who make money never truly leave. They can do business in Hargeisa, Xamar, or Bossaso but their spirit will always be in Burco and they always return. These guys know what made them what they are and its not the soft lazy air of Hargeisa but the brutish winds and the hustle and bustle of Burco. Its this environment that produces winners.
Maybe if you had even a fraction of Burco in your gene, today you wouldn't be all over the place confused and in need of shrink, unable to figure out your identity. Ma nin reer burco ah ba shir la tagi laha xabashi baan ahay? Wallahi wu is gowrici laha before that happened..
