Its a combat zone...I'm glad you're safe. All these kids were forced to join these police gangs at gunpoint (his gang are ordered to shoot at will if they don't join)...but he did it to stop the Ethiopians from killing civilians in retaliation for ONLF attacks...in a way, he thinks he's a hero and that anyone who doesn't join is the bad guy for fighting a losing battle. I wouldn't hate him too much, he's just the figurehead for the Ethiopians who plotted the whole thing to get rid of ONLF and it worked. Once you've killed an innocent person for a few birr, you lose the will to fight.

Yes, there are two wrongs...one is being attached to warlord because that's the closest thing they'll get to being in the room with one, and the other is defending him because of kin and not humanity. If I told you the number of times someone called me a Hiiraale supporter just because he's close kin, I could flood this page with quotes.
