NoAngst, the people who are obsessed with 'Arabs' and 'Arabism' are actually the ones who are attacking people left, right, and center. It has really become an obsession for them in their effort to take shots at Islam. This whole obsession with "Somalinimo" is all smokescreen. It has an end purpose and it is designed to put Somalis hate their faith.

If what you're saying is true, then the Arab bashers are vindicated, are they not? After all, what you seem to be suggesting is that "attacking" Arabism is akin to attacking Islam. Isn't that another way of saying "Arab=Islam?" If Arabism and Islam are distinct, why does it irk you so much when someone critiques the former? I don't get you.

Of course all this has more to do with the trauma Somalis went through as the result of the civil war and the insecurity that has produced. Insecure people become reactionary and narrow-minded. Add to the mix the reality that there are Somalis with guns running around Somalia today with names like Abu this and Ummu that, and you'll understand why some feel apprehensive.

Anyways, all this waste of time. Arabs are not a threat to Somalis. Recent history shows Somalis are their worst enemy. We don't need foreigners to do us harm, we're good at that ourselves. Besides, the Arabs and Jews got their prophets. But you know what? God is Somali!

I do not attack anyone nor am I trying to stop anyone from expressing their views. I just trying to respond to topics/post in the spirit I believe it was delivered.

Ps..."Arab possessed" is the antidote to "Arab booty clapper".
