The entire Togdheer Sool and bari puntland are already financially controled by religous groups who wont hesitate to kneel down for the mujahidin. The number of muslim extremists in Somaliland is no less than the number of hardcore landers. Both alshabaab and IS are very dangarious groups i would rather beg them than waging war against them. We better stay neutral or we will be used as proxy war footsoldiers like the kurdish pashmerga, No one is going to save our asses. even france could not prevent IS attacks. All we have to do is

1. increasing religous affairs budget, so that we can boost the level of nationalism among our deeply religous community. If you tell them please dont harm your country they wont do no matter if they Support IS or not. I mean we should convince them not blow their selves up inside their own people.
2. Increasing the number of secret agents . Somaliand CID should put islamic educated Agents in every high risk place especially masjids and madrasas.
3. All our religous businessmen contacts should be monitored every day. Through their Phone converstatins, Zaad transactions iwm

Its better to move under the radar than mounting troops.

al shabab in that area have links with tribal mucaarad who dont like foreing companies to operate in their area. They have been defeated thou by the security forces in there but they have access for getting arms from the al qacida controlled hadramout region..attom was originally an arms dealer. They number about 300

But the appearance of IS in there as a bari faction is dangerous....IS members in there r mj loyal to abdulqadir mumin, about 26

but the whole shabab is splitting on two clan lines...in the south, OG members have been trying to defect to IS...if this happens, sh abdulqadir base will expand more

So PL needs to act quickly and secure the whole coastal area.

So you are saying the new twist in the Somalian Civil War is Irir Al-Shabaab vs Darod ISIS? Is this why the Irir leadership of Al-Shabaab in south Somalia is killing so many Darod defectors to ISIS?

still theres tensions.....some OGs were killed just bc they were OG, some have surrendered to maamulka
