The irony I love here is that while some Muslims, including Somalis may with good intentions adopt some Arab customs, with intention of being connected with the deen, they don't place Arabs at the centre of their universe, while the extreme anti-Arab folk seem to see the Arab boogeyman everywhere.


Anothet disparity, if I wear an Abayah for comfort & convenience of covering, that will be portrayed as Arab-centrism while your qabil folk lore of having Arab fathers isn't & is in fact a source of pride?
