Supporting each other goes without saying.
When we first came to the west the people we related to were black.
aragti colour iyaga noogu dhow (unless our eye deceived us).
A perfect example was when young faraxs find themselves at the wrong end of the law and end up in one of her Majesty's fine stone hotels (HMP).
There were/are no Somali organisation so the black organisations that existed welcomed them with open arms. Right there and then you are black. Period.
The only downside was you have to relate to them from their perspective.
You are one of them and it pays to be familiar with slavery history, The movie Roots and must be able to curse in patois
According to ex-prisoners.

At last, you were converted and embraced the Black Brotherhood movement. I wasn't expecting Shiritaam spreading the message.

ORDER ORDER !
waryahe your daydreaming has lead you astray, fantasising about far fetched nonsensical lunacy that truly bugles the intelligent mind.
ina adeero adigoo raali ah, maxaad sokeeye inooga dhigtay bootyclap iyo desert rat.
The tribes of the somali peninsula are divided, the land is being pillaged, toxic waste being dumped on the shores, the people fleeing starvation, death and instability, and you are thinking about smoking weed in brixton with jamaicans ? putting a turban around your head and riding a camel ? ilahay yusan ku cadaabin.
many nations have perished before us, and Somalis as a unique people will undoubtedly perish if our situation continues, village by village, city by city, family by family. until there is nothing left but empty shells.
By the way I am speaking in terms of ideas, I have nothing against people from Sahel, my friends include many black muslims, I have some Jamaican acquantances and have dated some gyal dem who showed me a good time, but I love my own culture and people over these experiences and friendships I have.

Salam brother shiritaam lol
according to young faraxs in YOI and HMP I visited years ago when I was doing voluntary work for a probation office. Its basic common sense to stick with those they had something in common. Blacks.
Asians are the worst. They are also black in that environment. But outside your just a bastadh. Lol
Anyway, facing racial discrimination for the colour of your skin and lumped with the blacks you have to ride with the tides. But I hear this days Somalis outnumber blacks and Asians so blacks are learning about Somali and they try to relate with skinnies from our perspective. Its simply a case of ....dad kaa badan iyo daad bah wey ku qaadaan...or something along those lines.
