That's the idea of Berbera corridor. Not sure in the future if there will be different route.

Also in terms of logistics that's not Somaliland business but the port Concessionaire. They will decide if they bring their own equipment or hire local truckers. Somaliland's interest is of course to employ locals and that will be some of the things they will discuss. Maybe they will undergo training and dangerous goods will be handled by special teams.

These kind of jobs will fall under sub-contractor. For example it could be awarded to Omar Aideed logistics or ina Geele Arab and his GSK Group. But the concession is awarded by the Concessionaire (port operator) meaning they build their team. Ina Geele Arab himself may outsource and sub-contract indepdent truckers.

It's like that.

SL truckers will take it to Wajale and Ethiopians will take it from there (dry port).

In the case of a railway system, it will be jointly managed as an independent enterprise by the two governments.

If SL gov is confident on any deal, I do recommend:

A) establishing a mechanic/logistician academy.
B) tradies college; warehouse operation, machine operation, OHS, and so forth.

SL needs to be competitive in skills as well.

Ethiopia itself is about to crumble so why should we sign disadvantageous deals with these folk?
