Xaasidsanidaa hadaa dadka ma Muuqdisho ayad u mastaafurin lahayd!
Hadaan u soo noqdo Turkiga iyo passport ka JSL, Turkigu waa sida gabadh yar xintamaysa markii Nile acedamy laga eryi waayey JSL ayuu xanaaqay oo uu hadalkii uu hore u yidhi dib uga noqday.
Turkigu muxuu yahay isagii baa siduu European union ka u baryey indhihii casaadeene.
Passport ka JSL waxa lagu tagaa UK oo Turkiga laftigiisu u soo tahriibo.
Turkigow ha kugu taagnaato JSL ma wuxuu mooday Muuqdisho oo uu biil siiyo.

Re: Turkey Ambassador denies recognising Somaliland Passport
Walaahi ishaad ku dhufatey. The worst thing that could happen to us right now is recognition. We don't have the political or social infrastructure to deal with it right now. With all the corruption and tribal division, we'd just turn into another African banana republic.TheGrumpyGeeljire wrote:I am against Somaliland getting recognised until we get our shit together. Corruption, tribalism and khat MUST be rooted out and the bleak economic reality that ordinary Somailanders face needs to change.original dervish wrote:Most of the older generation of iidoor have given up on ever gaining recognition.
It's only the new generation of young punks whom are still chasing rainbows.
Nations are not recognised if their politicians shamelessly beg other nations, especially those who harbour ill-intentions (Britain, US...etc).
Recognition comes when there is a collective struggle of unrelenting hard-work, pure dedication and a fiery determination to build infrastructure, improve health-care and also combat corruption.
Until Somalilanders realise this, they will not be recognised. This actually better for us. Otherwise, the IMF will have a field-day on our politicians.
As for what you said, the older generation of Landers are useless. The current political elite are composed of either old fashioned and thoroughly corrupt Kacaan-era bureaucrats or ill-educated elders who gained power through tribalism. However, the current generation is full of university graduates and people who are willing to go that extra mile in developing their nation.
The current generation of 'punks' that you talk about, will make Somaliland succeed.
We need to fix issues like unemployment, qaat addiction and lack of infrastructure before we even think of recognition.

I'm starting to believe that our lack of recognition is used by the political establishment to take the focus away from their chronic shortcomings and corruption.

Watch from 5:00
" Waxaan ku nidhi baadhitaan ayaan samiinayna. Hadi baadhitaanka ka soo baxo inu schoolka inqilaabka lug ku leeyahay, sharciigina wuxu ka yidhaahdo aya laga yeelaya . "
Hadal Cad.
In politics, sometimes you can gain more by rejecting than by submitting. We all remember what happened when Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Mahmoud rejected British Foreign Secretary, William Hague, offer to attend London Somalia Conference and how hard Mr. David Cameron tried to convince him. We also remember how the attitude of UN envoy to Somalia, Mr. Nicholas Kay, changed after being told that he is no longer welcome in Somaliland.
Overall, Turkish politicians and people are good and honest just like Somalilanders. You just need to learn when to play hard with them and when to play soft. Good luck
