It was nowhere near the level of koonfur sxb, I hope you're not trying to argue that point. The Hawiye vs Daarood wars were far more brutal. Not to mention the Hawiye civil war between Abgaal and HG. We're talking about two different things.

I am aware of the atrocities that the Barre regime committed against Isaaqs.
There was a potential of a civil war between neighbouring Isaaq and Darood clans and there were even skirmishes but the SNM Central command in Burco stopped it.

I agree, there were no full on Isaaq vs Daarood war although there were clashes between feuding Nomads in the eastern regions and the Hawd.

They didn't defeat shit. After a stalemate, a peace treaty was signed and it benefited all parties involved.

As for SL, then the honest truth is that for the past ten years there has been a political shift in favour of SL. Only a few Bari tribes are still pro Puntland from what I've seen and even they will probably come around eventually.

My particular subclan has been pro SL for a long time, which I haven't agreed with in the past.

Allahu aclam. I haven't conducted a survey or anything, just basing this on what I've observed. Xiimaaye will probably disagree
Looooool every Darood has the exact same line of reasoning when it comes to SNM and USC liberating the former republic

For SNM: They say Hawiyes did all the work for them
For USC: They say USC destroyed the country so their struggle was pointless

Even their so called non qabiilists can't escape from this logic

yes to hawiye they say look u havent done anything because because u destroyed everything so taking away the credit the hawiyes played in the downfall of the darood regime. to the isaaq they cant say u destroyed anything because the isaaq build what ever the regime destroyed bur in order to discredit the isaaq role and their role in the downfall of the regime they attribute the collapse of the regime to the usc. in order to belittle snm its called jewish tactics laakin waaa lugu fahmayaa. i have seen darood who praise snm in order to discredit hawiye and visa versa and these were the most die hard kacaanista u noticed that very well my ciidagale cousin.
