Wishful thinking, but at least you're honest. This is the danger of joining SL and why extending the status quo is in our best interest. You can't trust that the SL government will not work to further the tribal interests of Isaaqs. Dhulos have made huge concessions but it's still not enough for Isaaq hardliners. Their hate for Harti goes much deeper than just politics. Look at how they casually mention ethnically cleansing people from their ancestral lands. That's some next level animosity. Nobody can guarantee that the likes of Awrastaale and JSL won't dominate the political scene in SL at some point in the future and try to initiate a process of ethnic cleansing in the East. That's the risk of becoming a minority in a tribal society, and make no mistake: Isaaq-land is still as tribal as ever despite this false narrative of "qaran" that they like to peddle.AwRastaale wrote:Nugaal wind,
Sool and Sanaag are part of SL but not Dhulos.
I never said Dhulos should be part of us. Find me where I said that.
The territory of SL occupied Dhulos should be liberated.
If the land is SL doesn't mean temporary occupiers are.
That's my position.
Time and time again I said I rather populate that land with Isaaq, Fiqishini, Hawiye IDP and Gadsaan from kililka.
Sorry kid.
Dhulos have made a huge gamble and i hope that it pays off. But the reality is that it could just as easily backfire on them.
