Abdiweli is pushing for more conflict. He doesn't have any memories of Nus-Qiyaamo, a time that even the Angels and demons fled Galkacyo. He is hoping fomenting conflict will boost his standing but he fails to realize that the only thing holding back Sacad is the Galmudug project which is gaining in political standing.

There were long deliberations as to whether to completely take over Galkacyo and humiliate Gaas and PL publically by seizing their most important symbols of government. The cooler heads won out by a slim margin and they simply stated that a win would be a phyrric victory and a loss in the greater game. Galmudug would be framed as an aggressive state and lose its political standing in the IC. If the hawks had won, they would have gone into GLK Airport, into AbdiWeli Gaas's home and paraded through their side of GLK. By Galmudug pleaing for peace during the Gaajo games and being willing to make peace while PL was making Arab style threats and rejecting peace overtures from the FG, IGAD. PL came across as the aggressor and an obstacle for peace. It took Saint Gabre of Galkaacyo to warn Gaas to make peace or he would dispatch Ethiopian forces from the woreda closest to Garowe to arrest him.

In the greater game, Galmudug has won. The Americans realize PL fed them false intel and have paid compensation to the victims of the drone strike. PL continues to look desperate by still sticking to the false narrative the GM security personnel are AS even though the US has found this to be false. Its continued accusation that the FG is supporting GM even though the facts show that the FG supports PL over GM. Garguurte flew them weapons earlier this year, dispatched the SNA Danab forces to PL and NOT COMMENTED on the American strike against GM.

If Gaas wants war, he will be fighting one all by himself. The Americans will stand by. IGAD will stand by. The rebellious MJ will stand by. The Leelkase will stand by. Harti will watch. Galmudug will be given a free hand politically to do what is necessary in securing the peace.

I don't support the destruction of Galmudug, its illogical. Many North Gaalkacyites want PL to seize it with as little blood as possible as many of the land on which those pics you post were legally owned by PLers and could make a decent fortune. This is why we are always educationally superior.
