I happen to know an ex-maid who worked in Saudi and she told me her employers were reasonable people and the shocking cases we hear of abuse and mistreatment were not representative of the situation of the majority of employed maids. It does happen, and it is a problem, but a very overly-exaggerated one.

So many cases of men getting murdered in thier sleep for raping Somali maids, and they would beatup their employers if they were mistreated.

Being a maid in Arab countries is like being a slave. They take ur passport , don't pay you , treat you like slave!

Maids in somalia are treated far better.
