somalis have varied hair textures from kinky to curly to wavy and finally bone straight hindi hair.The distribution is somewhat like this,30% kinky type 4,30% curly type 3,20% wavy/silky type 2,10% bone straight hindi hair(the rarest) type 1.I have 3c textured hair,it is curly but can be
misconstrued as kinky when grown out long(afro) and i believe many somalis fall into this same category.That being said many of my family members can be seen anywhere from type 1 to type 4 with most being somewhere in between.
