There are way too many sub clans (30+) under D&M that it's impossible to give Gaaljecel more than two MPs . Actually some larger Mirifle sub clans like Leysaan, Hadamo, Eelaay, etc were allocated three seats only.

lol @ Mk777 iska waal waal. No clan has a lot of seats. This isn't one of the other states where there's only a handful of clans. There's over a couple of dozen clans here so even the absolute largest clan only gets 4 or 5 seats.

I used to live in Yaaqbariweyne and we used to visit Leego ilaa Buur Hakaba and in the other direction to Balidoogle and Walawayn ilaa Afgooye.

There was a large Xir Timodheer site between Yaaqbariweyne and Leego and they used to hold huge feasts there. I love that region.

2 is a ridiculous number but nevertheless The biggest concern is not the number of seats but the claims of the d&m elders who claim that beesha who live all over SWS are not native etc. This is a big problem that needs to be sorted whilst the state is in its infancy. We live in afgooye, wanlaweyn, buur hakaba (although minorities other than in wanlaweyn) qoryooley and numerous other towns. We had a decent presence in diinsoor before the civil war when dabarre chased some after civil war, most subsequently settled in saaakow.

One of the richest and strong Somali sub clans the waceysle not long ago were told to hush and were forced to elect a stooge in their ancestral town in galmudug
