Farmaajo has done his homework in selecting Rooble who is the loyalist type. Rooble isn't a typical geeljire who grew up in baadiyo; he had a non-geeljire upbringing and is reer magaal. Farmaajo also had a similar upbringing. The country needs such leaders to move into the 21st century. Khat is cancerous drug that will take time to ban from such a society.

Somalia's president isn't ceremonial in reality but executive powers are vested in only the Prime Minister and his/her cabinet according to the constitution. so rooble would ruin his name in both pro N&N and the mucaarids? because they now will accept nothing but Rooble handing the election on a silver platter to the mucaarids.

there is no ciyaar going on, but i think Rooble is openly negotiating for which ever side can buy him off, because if farmaajo wins Rooble is gone and if farmaajo looses rooble is gone also.

Rooble gains nothing but money from this process.

He has a number of counselors & strategists, some foreigners (Turks, Arabs, Westerners, etc). He wouldn't have survived without them. You've reacted to many incidences (impeachment, badbaado, Eritrea, etc) before, thinking Farmaajo was finished. It's August 10, more than 6 months since February 8, and some are still speculating/predicting on Farmaajo's imminent demise. There's a difference between wishful thinkings & the reality on the ground.
