Weren’t you guys claiming Gedo was Alshaydaan free awhile ago. Your double dealings with Hutus made you the only Darod clan that tolarete alshaydaan and Hutus. Gedo still has alshaydaan and Cagdheers slaves in Somalia don’t count as there for Kenya so your the only Darod who’s land is alshaydaan and unpeacefull. I like Mareexan but don’t make me go their!

It's simple really, Dhulbahante want Somaliland over Puntland and that's why Somaliland controls most of Sool, if tomorrow Mahad Cambaashe and his troops defect to PL than you'll see Laascaanood changing hands. Sanaag bari is the opposite case where their inhabitants are more pro PL and Warsangeli don't even have one MP in Somaliland because nobody voted in their districts, that's why Deni was in Dhahar Sanaag 3 weeks ago and Muuse Biixi can't go there.
All in all it all depends who can seduce the locals more and it seems SL is stronger in Dhulbahante lands and PL is stronger in Warsangeli lands.

Somaliland have formalised a relationship that began around six months ago.
What people don't know is that MJ/ Umar Mahmoud living to the south of Dhulbahante and MJ/ Cisse Mahmoud living to the east have been attempting to expand into our lands.
They have used the resources of PL to arm their militias and began attacking and killing lightly arned Dhulbahante reer badiye.
They've attempted to build settlements, Wells and barkads.
Everytime they've been beaten back with Dhulbahante suffering heavy losses.
All their politicians support these aggressive actions.
During the most recent fighting near Bocame three mj settlements were destroyed and many people killed.
Dhulbahante sl soldiers took part.....and a base has been established in the area.
