This whole argument and rift about Muslims submitting their loyalty and obedience to their rulers recently started with the Saudi Royal family versus their new disenfranchised wahabi groups led by Ossama and co. You remember sheikh Nuur, he used to hold similar views but later changed his views and you can ask him or read those views in Somaliaonline. While Beenaale presented the Al-Sheeykh and Bin Baz (current and former Saudi Muftis) version of supporting the legitimacy of the Saudi regime. Nur now made a u-turn.
When we discuss about Islamic leaders we are not discussing the contemporary nation states created by Europeans and run by the security council of the U.N (no Islamic member), it is ALL about the Islamic state. Read the sermon and letter that Ali Bin Abi Talib ra wrote to one of his amirs. (I will post later).
Ask yourself, why are the majority of the Muslims very poor? It is because of their corrupt governments, and not because of Islam. The whole notion of a nation state is European construct and anti-Islamic. In the Muslim world there are only 600 universities while in America alone there are 6000 universities. You don’t have to be an Einstein to realize that most of these governments are subservient to the west (this is a fact), and sadly it reminds me of the feudal system.
Arabman wrote:
“From her writings, I too have observed a drastic change in AMAT-ALLAH's ideology. Her writings used to display a strong support for Islamic issues & causes, but that's no longer the case. At the very least, her current avatar is an admirable one.â€Â
Anyone who doesn’t believe the wahabi version of Islam that Arabman recently converted to, then they are automaticall deemed of not supporting Islamic issues and causes. According to Arabman, one should strongly believe in the methods, and literature of Zarqawi and Ossama’s who are neither scholars nor representatives of the majority of Muslims. No wonder then, I have been saying that those Wahabis don’t consider other Muslims as Muslims unless they tow the Wahabi line. They are violent and willing to bomb other Muslims in their mosques, because they have been brainwashed to believe that they are the Only True Muslims.

I don't think there is wahabism/salafism, only one deen like many brothers said here. I think Ibn Taymiyah and Ibn AbdulWahhaab (rahimahumullaah) were great scholars and I yet haven't seen anything from them that goes against the teachings of Prophet scws (same thing with modern time's sheikhs Ibn Baaz, Al-Albaani, Ibn Muqbil etc). It's western media that's brainwashing people and trying to separate muslims. I have one question: they call al-qaida a wahhabi sect and same time they call kingdom of SA wahhabi country. So which ones are real wahhabis when these two hate each other?
The Law26, I know the reality in Saudi-Arabia and I know many bad things that are going on but Prophet scws said that there will be rulers with hearts of devils and even if they beat our backs and take our wealth we should obey them as long as they are muslims and is 100% forbidden to revolt in a situation like this.
Making lawful the killing of muslims is a way of the Khawaarij, the same people who killed many sahaba, who created fitna between Ali (ra) and Muawiah (ra) and killed Uthmaan (ra). They make takfeer (say they are kuffar) to muslims when they see something bad from them. A person can drink alcohol and do many bad things and he's still a muslim, a bad one but still a muslim. If this person believes that things he do are halaal, then he is disbeliever, not before that. Haafid Ibn Hazm said: "Whoever destroys all his deeds, then he is a believer who is sinning, deficient in faith. He does not disbelieve." And Prophet scws said whoever calls another muslim a kaafir is kaafir himself.
About a leader ruling with something else than Allah has commanded, Ibn Baaz (rahimahulah) said: There are four categories:
1.King rules with something else 'cos he thinks it's better than Islamic Law. He is kaafir with major kufr.
2.King rules with something else 'cos he thinks it's like islamic Law so it's permissible. He is kaafir with major kufr.
3.King rules with something else but he thinks that Islamic Law is better, but same time he thinks it's permissible what he's doing. He's kaafir with major kufr.
4.King who rules with something else but same time believes that ruling by Islamic Law is only law that's permissible, but for some reason he doesn't rule with Sharica. So this king makes minor kufr, he doesn't leave from religion and he is commiting the most major of major sins.
So I ask, how should we act with leaders like this, and please give evidence from Qur'an or Sunnah of Prophet SCWS.

That is a very good question indeed, we hear from the news saudi forces fighting against wahabi extremists on almost daily basis yet many here beliefe saudi regime pumps money to further wahabi salfi influence
how can they be fighting the same people they finance to spearhead their ideology
eish macquul???

I dont think telling amat-llah there is slight in change in her charcter over recent months is wrong, if anything it is naseexa for the sister. mind you even galol a kafir noticed the (remarkable) change in her and dedicated celebrating this by opening whole topic. i swear somalinet is bad influence for one's imam. i remeber when i started here back in 2003 end i was a regular mosque goer doing my salat on times and suddenly i started spending more time here missing most jamaca salat (rasul scw said, "the best deed is prayer done at its designated time")reading the usual malayacni (gibberih) and replying with more gibberish. lhamdulillah i overcame the problem with prayers on time but couldn't do anything about the gibberish (vain) talk untill i bumbed into the third verse of surtul mu'mimnuun (believers)a week ago while reading the quran.
1. The believers must (eventually) win through,-
2. Those who humble themselves in their prayers;
3. (((((Who avoid vain talk;)))))))
4. Who are active in deeds of charity;
5. Who abstain from sex,
6. Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (in their case) they are free from blame,
7. But those whose desires exceed those limits are transgressors;-
8. Those who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenants;
9. And who (strictly) guard their prayers;-
10. These will be the heirs,
11. Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever).
may Allah guide us all to the one true path.

Listen here, you dont know me, and how dare you question my faith. Just becasue im not replying Jazakallah kheyrn every bloody islamic post in the forum, doesnt make me more/less than what i am. And dont you dare throw a cheapshot like that and retract you weak claim with 'AllahuAlim' and 'Billah towfiq',Im well aware of your little game here.Im sick and tired of you and many here playing God. Thinking that your superior and looking down at others i.e Kamal, he was a good man and was seriously interested in Islam...and any hope of him converting to Islam via the poor example of yourself makes it the ever slimmer. And one other sick irony is that you yourslef have changed, i have never ever from the time i joined here seen you bad mouth people, and all of a sudden you've taken on this character who thinks ''hey if i begin with Bismillah and insult Law or others God will think im on his side''--well it doesnt work like that. A Sufi gnostic once said;
''A true believer is one who can plae his iman on the market place and not be worried of what may come to light''
Hope that enlightened you.
Arabman, my ideology???And islamic issues??Typical, didnt take you long to follow Aimans lead, again, what do you want from me??To post ayah's from the Quran and not quite full understand its hikmah and await my praises of Jazkallah Kheyran from my usual expected fans??? No thanks.....Listen here, get off your lil self-righteaous hig horse and come and speak to me like my brother, muslim man taught me a real important lesson about how you should help your bro/sisters and not insult them--that was the way of our Prophet(saw) and here you are moaning about my consistancy and not bothering to address me humbly. You are just one sick hypocrite and i pity muslims like yourself, busy knit-picing other peoples faith, rather tan helping them or even more greater looking at yourself.

Exactly, thats we need to as muslims impel a strong force to fight this backward ways and be more progressive inshallah. But what about the ayah in the Quran tho Law26 Allah(swt) talks about how we should be obediant to even our dictorial leaders...i dont quite understand. Please do share the letter inshallah...
Law26, i never quite understood why you were an easy target for the likes of Aiman and Arabman but if they think just because your more progessive and forward and more importantly wanting a better change for our muslim ummah, then it makes me really upset. There obssession with my lack of conservativsim is revolting, so i talk about sports, other issues as well as Islam and what im now a muunafiq???
I persoanlly work for one of my cities largest Islamic organisations and i ahve never once had people hold this superor/infoerior complex over their muslim brother/sisters...why is it soo normal here?Is this were the hidden voices are expressed?
Is this the future our ummah, lack of brotherhood/sisterhood???
Muslim man your right, our imans can weaking in this place, because you begin to really see the true colours ouryour own brothers and sisters
May Allah(swt) guide us all and protect us from shaytaan and his misgivings...
I will make it brief
Osama Bin landen never claimed personal responsibility with the bombing.
The bombing has been done by the 9 magnificent, young people who donated their life to catalyse the progress of mujaheedeen renaissance.
Osama is part of the ulema who preach physical confrontation to the head of all evils (the bastar USA).
Then we will wipe the scrounger so called kings and presidents beginning with the Arabia peninsula.
Osama bless them 9 youth and did meet some of the 9 suicide bombers.
In matter of fact I bless them as well.
With your Columbians friends as if there were worth more than the thousands civilians that the American killed in mogadisho.
We never planned to kill the Columbians. I tell you who to take your anger to.
Not osama but allah if you can.
Because allah fate put them on that location at the same day.
Allah teaching call kadaar, it is your time that came to end.
Westerners call it “collateral damageâ€Â.
Capish wallalo.
As a woman you are inclined to peace, I don’t preach you to follow osama bin laden.
Follow the teaching of our prophet.
But at least respect our ulemaah or you will answer your blinding hate to allah soon!
In all my life living on this earth, my own muslim brother who follows the word and command of Allah(swt) and the teachings of our beloved Prophet(saw) to then say, and i quote;

Your valueing one life over the other, when clearly our Lord of the Heavens and the Earth says we are equal to Him.
And how on God's name can you say this is 'colllateral dammage''...innocnet for another innocent???Were in Gods earth have u seen the green light to legalise this barbaric happenings?
How about Muslim vs Muslim--try and play with that equation, what if God knowing, that my friends families could have converted to Al-Islam????
Walahay i swear to you, my friend has always been fasinated with Islam, and since 9/11 she stopped talking about religion, is this dacwa at its best for you??
Donof Dj, you should look up the word in the dictionary accountability. Because i dont think you understand it...........and once you do, i hope that God-given sould Allah(swt) blew into your measly body comes to the realisation that your a mortal made from clay and sand. Just a human like everybody else.

Before you people go pointing fingers for unjustice against Islam, and prejudice at The Americans you need to look in your own backyard!

This was an interesting debate in the beginning until the name calling and munafiq accusations started . a reminder benefits a beleiver so let me remind you'll it is strictly haraam to call a muslim a munafiq or a kafir.
Just for the record Osama bin laden is not salafi/wahabi as most ignorant people think. His sheikh ayman al zawahiri was a student of the late sayid khuttub. If anything they are probably ikhwan muslimeen. For lack of a better word I would call them “political islam†. This thread sure does bring out weird alliances; ppl who normally hate osama cozying up to others who like him. Wonders never cease!
Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) said:
“A true Muslim is a person whom other Muslims are safe from the mischief of his tongue and the mischief of his hands. A true believer is a person whom other people can trust him on their lives and properties..."
