Khalid.......you had a good 30 year run, 15 years ruling Lascaanood to boot. However, all things come to an end. Now the iidoors have overwhelmingly endorsed Ciiro and his manifesto. The new president has a clear mandate to pursue his policies.

So far Ciiro is making all the right noises.
He campaigned on a peace platform and renewing political relations with Mogadishu.

I believe the Ceerigabo crisis will soon be solved peacefully. The Dhulbahnte don't view Ciiro as having blood on his hands like your uncle Bixi and will work with him unconditionally.

An interesting fact is that Ciiro is the most popular politician in north and south Somalia. People view Ciiro as a force for good, not like former sl leaders who habitually insult other Somalis.

I will say it here and now........Ciiro will one day lead a united north and south Somalia......as the first ever iidoor Somali president inshallah.

In principle we can agree Dhulbahante and Warsangeli are part of northern Somalia.

In any new North- South power sharing agreement with Mogadishu we would only accept if a new northern constitution is written where the eastern portion of northern Somalia is giving full confederation status with the western part of sl.

Coiro is a pragmatic politician. I'm sure he will examine every option.

I'm not 100% in agreement with your proposal.
However, it has the potential to be the base for political talks.
