Eyes,

I heard this is the favourite song of the Hawiye radicals lead by Gen Aidid...it seems that its true. Very Happy

I also heard that Magool was singing this song for the Darod as though they were "Gumeyste" and came to Somalia by Boats...so long as you belive in those fiary tales...no peace can come be it in the form of some Mooryaan Wadaado wanna be or some semi-government elected by other warlords and supported by Ethiopia.

Ha loo Duceeyo Somalia...that is what it really needs.

Eyes

Woooooow, that is a blood-curdling song in the nicest way possible, it touches deep, way deep. Thanx for sharing.

Abdi

Why do you like to see things from a bottle's neck? why not check the bigger picture, the wider scope and the general aspect of the events unfolding in the motherland? I am being sincere in this question, I have never had a sincere discussion with you, I know you are an intelligent lad but I fail to understand the reasons that force you to put your personal interest b4 the interest of the whole nation that has been bleeding for 16 years? Why can't you see the suffering masaakiin and why not rejoice with them what Allah (SW) has brought them?

Iranian president Ahmedinajad vehemently opposes foreign peacekeepers deployment in Somalia

Aweys Osman Yusuf

Mogadishu 06, Sep. 06 ( Sh.M.Network) Iranian president Mohomood Ahmedinajad has announced that he is entirely opposed to foreign peacekeepers deployed in Somalia.

The news came after Djiboutian president IsmaÂ’il Omar Gelle who was in Iran for three days visit met with his Iranian counterpart.
President Ahmedinajad stated that deploying peacekeeping forces to Somalia might only accrue political tension and division in the volatile Somalia.

During his stay in Iran, president Gelle convened with senior religious leaders in Iran, and discussed about issues pertaining to Horn of African countries.

After the end of the meeting, both presidents issued a joint communiqué about the politics of Africa and the Muslim world.
In their communiqué, the two leaders stressed the need to stick around for the upshots of Khartoum peace talks between the fragile Somali government and the Union of Islamic Courts, adding that impulsive troop deployment might result anther destruction and loss of lives.

Mr. Ahmedinajad praised his Djiboutian counterpart for the great struggle of mediating Somali leaders and trying to make every endeavor to hamper bloodshed in Somalia.

The first outcome of Khartoum meeting between the Somali government and the Islamists showed an enthusiasm from both sides to reach an agreement.

They expressed that possibility of combining their forces, but only if they concur up on basic standing issues.

Basra,

Are you being sarcastic? Cause if you are, I fail to get it. Since when has listening to Somali patriotic songs become a thing for the minions you mentioned? For Godsake they don't even understand the meaning of the song let alone enjoy it. Besides, I quit listening to songs of any sort, nowadays I have my Sheikh Abdulhamid Abdulaziz Kishk cds in my car and I wouldn't trade them for any song in the whole wide world.

Eyes... Naya... Who can forget the images of the Abgaal burning and tearing up the Somali flag in front of the Italian peacekeepers in N. Mogadishu while they waived the UN Flag ? The Xawaadle and Murusades composed the majority of spies working for the UNOSOM as they were able to enter HG neighborhoods.

If it wasn't for the resolve of the hard core Sacad and certain Cayr, the UNOSOM would have taken over Somalia.

Abdi, you are right that it was mainly the HG that were in the war, the ceyr especially sacrificed a lot in that war. But that is not to say that the other clans were not supporting or even helping. People of other clans were also working to conceal movements and sharing information. I lived in a mixed neighbourhood and the Americans were hated by everyone.

I donÂ’t know about the flag incident you are referring to but I know many people in that area dislike habargidir but that is no reason to burn the Somali flag and I don't believe you. Rolling Eyes
