Another Afar custom: In order to marry, an Afar man must go kill an Issa and bring his xiinyo back as proof.

Ok so most of you are like me...you dont hate them...perhaps this was a strong word..

But what with this hsotility and animosity towards them then??? especailly when their leaders want to help us?? Ok maybe they have hidden agenda....but remember...before th UIC ever surfaced most of the warlords were against Ethiopian forces...they prefered Ugandans over them....so thats where my Q stems form???

There is a small library at my work..so we have some security guards...so 2 of them are Ethiopians...an old guy and a girl...they thought I was one of them at first...but as i was talking to the guy this morning he was telling how he likes Somalis etc....and I told him we like them too...thats what made me think of this post...

Ethiopians are pretty cool people... They address us as their brothers and sisters. I have a couple Habashi friends and one Eritrean co-worker, they're all generous people. When they see me, they ask me if I'm Habash and when I tell them I'm Somali, they say "Oh, close enough, we're brothers and sisters anyways".


Laakiin, I don't understand why the Oromos have HATE towards the Tigre and the Habash, seriously... Xabashi bey isla yihiin LOL..

I have an Oromo friend and whenever we see Ethiopians, she says "Oh, those bastards, I hope they burn in hell"... I asked her why she hates them with passion, she told me that it was too hard to explain.



Eritreans hate Ethies Oromos. The Oromos hate both. I guess Somalis are neutral....
