One more proof that God created Human/living creatures on earth rather than in heaven and then sent them away:

"And when your Lord said to the angels, I am going to place in the earth a khalif, they said: What! wilt Thou place in it such as shall make mischief in it and shed blood, and we celebrate Thy praise and extol Thy holiness? He said: Surely I know what you do not know"

1)Now the verse indicates that God intended to place humans on earth and make them rulers of the earth...aka Khlaiif..

2) When the angels said why place and make them rulers when they will commit mischief (Fasaad) and shed blood..this tells you that at the time Humans were just like animals eating like them and behaving like them...but God chose them to evolve..

I think Prag was asking this Q the other day...right??

And the fact that this Jannah was infact an earthly Jannah is indicated by these verses:

"But the Shaitan made an evil suggestion to them that he might make manifest to them what had been hidden from them of their evil inclinations, and he said: Your Lord has not forbidden you this tree except that you may not both become two angels or that you may (not) become of the immortals.
[ And he swore to them both: Most surely I am a sincere adviser to you"

When Shytan suggests to Adam to eat the tree so that he become Immortal..it shows you that Adam knew what mortality meant...and since there is no death in Jannah the one described in the Quran, Adamites must have lived on an earthly Jannah.

Cawar,

Laughing Laughing @ Adamites.

Adam was the first human being and there was only 1 Adam according to the Qur'an, not many. Adam was created first & then Hawa was created after that.

Before Adam was created, Allah had already created other creatures by then e.g. the angels & even jinn (Ibliis was one of them).

Cawar wites: " 2) When the angels said why place and make them rulers when they will commit mischief (Fasaad) and shed blood..this tells you that at the time Humans were just like animals eating like them and behaving like them...but God chose them to evolve.. "

According to widely accepted scholarly view this means that Allah had created other beings that later became mischevious on earth that were jinns & were actually destroyed because of their transgressions. So, a group of angels approached Allah (swt) as he was creating Adam and simply reffered to those jinns whom were destroyed.

Cawar wries: "When Shytan suggests to Adam to eat the tree so that he become Immortal..it shows you that Adam knew what mortality meant...and since there is no death in Jannah the one described in the Quran, Adamites must have lived on an earthly Jannah."

Adam was created with all the knowledge he would ever need (every invention or discovery that is made today is inherited from this knowledge of Adam's) so yes Adam did know what mortality is because it was part of his programmed knowledge.

I listened to an audio series called "The Lifes Of The Prophets" by Anwar Al-Awlaki, a very interesting series that starts by discussing creation & then Adam all the way to Jesus. You should research it!

Did you know that Adam met all of his descendents including you & me? Hard to believe huh? It was narrated by Nabi Muhammad (saw) that Adam met all of his creation including Prophet Da'ud, whom he liked & when he asked "Who is this man?" he was told "This is one your descendents who will come towards the end of time." and Adam then said "Give him 40 years deducted from my life."

Adam was to die 1000 years old, but the angel of death came to him when he was 960 years old & Adam` said "I am to die when I am 1000 years" and when he was reminded of his deal to give Da'ud 40 years of his life, he then agreed and the angel took his life (as).

It is said that one of Adam's children became a Prophet called Shiid.

Allahu Aclam!

According to who???

Lemme guess...you also believe that Xawa was created from Adams rib and men have less ribs than women right??? Very Happy
"O mankind, We created you from a single pair of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes that you may know one another.Veryly the most honored of you in the sight of God is he who is the most righteous of you."(quran 49:13)

How could you say there were many adams when the quran clearly says there was only one Adam...

Cawar, I have heard of this theory in a different light. which mainly states that founder of evolution was not Darwin, but the Quran and Islam. these folks also used the same Ayas you are using, but they go more in detail with the meaning of soul, because States in the Quran that he has as we all know breathed soul into us, begining with Adam. and then the Aya says that we have gradually developped.

Listen. the most important thing in being a Muslim is believing in what Allah says, especially when Allah says in Baqara "This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah; Who believe in the Unseen, are steadfast in prayer, and spend out of what We have provided for them;

and the unseen is not just jinns and angels, but what came before us. Allah is all powerfull, and if he wanted us to know if we came from abes He would have told us. Allahu Aclam.

Karkaar,

First of the meaning of that Aayah/verse is as follows:

[49:13] O people, we created you from male and female."

And not as you got it...simply in Arabic..

"O mankind, We created you from a single pair of a male and a female

"Yaa Ayuha Naasu Inaa Khalaqnakum Min Thakarin Wa Unthaa"

So first you have to understand the meaning of the Quran in order to refute something.. Very Happy

You're the first muslim i've seen to refute the fact that people were created from adam and eve....

I know you better than that so why not re-read what you just posted....You wish to see as this way, o mankind We created you as males and females.....

male is singular in the english language so is female so that tells you that there was one man and one woman...Not as you wish males and females...I hope that alone clears any dust....

So first you have to understand the meaning of the Quran in order to refute something.. Very Happy
Cawar,

Who are these Wahabis you keep talking about, I've never met anyone who calls himself a Wahabi. Laughing

Here is the correct translation of the Surah:

"O mankind! Reverence your Guardian-Lord, Who created you from a single person (nafsin- waahidah), created, of like nature, his mate, and from them two scattered (like seeds) countless men and women--reverence Allah through Whom you demand your mutual (rights), and (reverence) the wombs (that bore you): for Allah ever watches over you.... "(Qur'an 4:1)
