I thought it was a typo for "fair trade", and I was contrasting the two, in that how the bigger trading partner focked over the smaller one. Feel me ?
It has been fixed. Thats what happens when you are writing in 3 different posts.
How are you so sure of Somalia being "flucked" over by Ethiopia?
Biko,
I believe that we live in a racist world. The good 'old Anglo-Saxon countries look down upon the coloured people of the world. American Imperialism cannot be compared to Ethiopia. Several issues face many of the countries in the Sub-Saharan region of Africa. We need to find ways in which the economic, political and social instabilities that face these countries could be resolved. The racist west has been biased to Africa; in every sense... our enemy is not our poor neighbours, but the racist policies of the Imperialists. I look to the Organization of African Unity (OUA) for example, and their plans to build policies that would create security and stability to these severely instable regions. Thus, I believe that Confidence-Building Measures is the best solution. Did you know that many of the countries in South America for example have benefited from such policies, one example of that is Mercosur. CBMs are processes that are used to build security by reducing the problems that arise from suspicion and fear between nations. CBMs provide a road map for bridge building initiatives through demilitarization and diplomatic information exchange, providing a two tier solutions the CBMs are more likely to succeed in establishing security, stability, progress and cooperation in the region. Thus, Ethiopia and Somalia and for that matter other East African regions have had such policies previously.
Lets first get rid of Beer Dofaar and the Tigres, establish an islamic republic then talk about the above.
Till then, you are justifying Ethio occupation and I am blind, deaf and dumb to that.

Canada and the U.S are a perfect example. A HUGE country like the U.S/Tobya is ALWAYS going to look after Numero Uno. Therefore the smaller guy Canada/Somalia, will ALWAYS get the shitty end of the stick. And ya know what ? Aint a damn thing to do about it. The Mulroney govt in Canada signed NAFTA with the Reagan Admin, and now there's no going back. Once Somalia lets Tobya in the front door, they aint gonna leave. And I DONT mean in terms of their military presence. If Somalia is smart, they'll thank them for coming to the party, but it's time for you motherfuckers to leave.

Alluring, what can Ethiopia give Somalia? We have ports, they don't. We have a better economy (slightly)...they have a dictator and we have the wild, wild west that was put to an end when the red bearded freaks came to town...Those guys (ICU) brought stablity with a dash of stupidity to Somalia...now you want to trade that for wars, famine and aids with Ethiopia?
What can Ethiopia give us we don't have.....After Eritrea made Ethiopia landlocked, Ethiopians have been bitter and have been trying to get a taste of the sea...and because of losers like you, their aids will be mixed in with our seas....death to you (coming from a non muslim)

Stop comparing imperialist America to poor African nations.
I don't see things in a zero-sum game...it does not work in Africa...
Your comments are indicative of someone who knows nothing about being or living in Africa.
Do you even know what the word occupation means? When you get a green light from the elected government to come over and help, it is not considered an occupation.
How did the Ethios come?
Through the barrel of the gun. They will leave thro' the barrel of the gun.
They duly passed a motion declaring war on somalia in their parliament and their pm announced it on radio/tv.
first let them go back to their side of the border, somalia get rid of TFG and then we can make decisions as two sovereign states.
Now one is totally dominated.
Even colonialists had their local agents and ADCs(african district councils).
A/Y is no better.

Who cares whether or not you see things for as they really are ? The principles are identicle, but you're too young and immature to see that as yet. My comments are indicative of someone who knows how bullying countries treat smaller countries. And in this instance, it more than suffices. But while we're on it, YOUR comments reek of arrogance. Do some research, and you'll know i'm right.
BTW, NO, I won't stop comparing bullys to non bullys.

FreedomofSpeech,
Ethiopia is not the redeemer of Somalia, nor will it ever be. But they have gotten more recognition from the West than Somalia has. Why can't there be two countries from the Horn of Africa be connected without some type of stigma being attached to it?
This is a stereotypical notion in consistency with Africa. We aren't like the rest of Africans, mostly having to do with the fact that we don't share any genetic similarities with Sub-Saharan Africans.
I've always believed in "If you help me, I'll help you. And "If you don't help me, I'll still help you" Why? Because the world changes, it's consistently in rotations. What happened PREVIOUSLY does not define what will happen in the future (in accordance to Eritrea).
I personally care for the rehabilitation of my great nation. TFG can not just sign Somalia's right away nor will they. They will see what Ethiopians want in return and what they are willing to furnish.
Isn't "no" in the Somali vocabulary?

Do you think that calling me names would make your statements stronger? replying to my argument by attacking the person presenting the argument, in this case moi or the argument itself shows weakness, it is called a logical fallacy, you of all people should know that M.
You are ignorant of Somali and for that matter African history. Holding the title super heavy weight in a Somali site does not make you an expert.

You know what they want...hell, you know what i want (your coochie) but your coochie(our ports) isn't valuable to them because you are giving it away for cheap. They will use us and not give a f'uck what we say...We are not going to get a fair deal because of our weakness....if we were on equal terms with them, then yes, it would be 50/50...but right now, we are going to get ran through like a track field....I hope the UN passes out condoms, we're in for some serious aids
Alluring we know u love somalia, but tree huggers like u need to stay away from politics...You're too nice...you are what we call..."lets just be friends" type
