Ceydid did his fair share of killings.
He did kill many people and anyone can blame him for the civil war. But there is no point in making things up. Comments like, he killed thousands of cad cad is not productive. I know my uncle was killed for being a minister, he was killed by the USC and we know he was killed by sacad militias. I can say he was killed by Ceydiid but I can't say my other uncle was killed by him because he was also killed by sacad. The point here being, Ceydiid was not in control of the moroyaan after a certain point. He headed the big battles but murdering defenceless people who donÂ’t even present a threat to him wasnÂ’t his style. The moroyaan were a different breed who looted, murdered and raped many and this was not limited to a single clan.

Of course they were. The USC moroyaan were hawiye and soon after they won, they divided up. midwalbe meeshiisoo ka qaraabanaye. They were waging a gorilla war for so long I think they needed dhaqan celis.
Blaming Ceydiid for what the moroyaan did is ignoring the truth. He wasnÂ’t in charge of the moroyaan and some of those responsible are still out there.

Ceydid senior starved over 500,000 digil and mirifles in Bay and Bakool region in the 1990s. His son continued the occupation of Bay and Bakool and the starving of the natives until the Ethiopians came and kicked them out by force.
By the way, I was told the Dahabshiil people were behind the closure of Al Barakat. I am not surprised it was Hussien Caydid though.

Stop making thigs up now. 500,000 starved to death? By Ceydiid sr? In the 90s?
There were murders, lootings and other horrible crimes inflicted on people but Ceydiid sr. starving 500,000 digil & mirifle? Are you serious? Are you talking about the famine or actual plan to starve the people to death? How and when exactly was this carried out?
Next youÂ’ll be saying he drowned 1million or burned thousands on the stake.

Bliss,
I accuse people of what they did not of what they didnÂ’t do. I defend people IÂ’m convinced are innocent of what theyÂ’re being accused of.
The man was responsible for many bad things but there is no point making things up and accusing him of things he didnÂ’t do.
ItÂ’s like my parents saying, my grandmotherÂ’s savings was stolen by Siad Barre when we all know it wasnÂ’t him that actually stole it. I could blame him for what happened or I could look at the man in charge of the bank and the finance minister and all the people that took part in the stealing. There is no point in blaming a dead man for what he didnÂ’t do. There is no logic to it. What people should do is try to understand what actually happened and who exactly was responsible.

Caydiid was the president thats why.. he occupied not only southern somalia but reached Bosaso
He did was a brave genral and a largle misunderstood president
A/Y has killede more then Caydiid , Siad Barre killed more then Caydiid..
So accepting A/Y and Holding caydiid The death of those that He fought in war with is some serious injustice
But i don't expect costa to know much betta

Aydiid occupied Bossaso

I hear that from only crazy fanatic hawiye relatives.
They tell me kismaayo is Hawiy and Gedo is Ceyr and Mareehan deegaan

THATS HOW YOU KNOW THEY ARE SMOKING CRACK.
Aideed and his fools couldn't pass Galkacyo.
He ran away in a jilbaab in gedo and his men were getting killed left right and centre

Its funny to see people who claim to be religious and supporters of Shareeca in Somalia defend people like Caydiid.
