I honestly believe that the young children living in the west today are in danger as soon as they start idealising celebs! What the heck?

Its ashame because alot of these youngings are (to my view) confused. Coming from Somalia's conditions to live in the west?Complete difference. While they are trying to slowly adjust, the parents are stuck in a time-hole. So the connection between parent and child is lost..can you blame it? Peer pressure from the guys in thier neighbourhood and pressure from the house with thier deen iyo dhaqaan which is completly the opposite of what the west values. Thier traditional norms and values are thrown out. I am not saying it is normal to kill far from it, but you have to look at other aspects. Lot of these children only have 1 parent *if they are lucky*, if not they are left to fend for themselves or living with an abusive 'fake' relative whom they've untill living with them would have never met them before. Also most can not even talk to thier parents about thier problems which is such a pitty and I do not know how many of them have survived. They do not communicate as they would have back in Somalia where there was a mutial understanding, now thiers a lack of knowledge and a complete culture gap between the two.. Stability is in shreds. Thier parents no longer become thier role model and they automatically turn to something. What can the parents do??
-You may say, its 2007 get with it, that was the case story a while back. But not really. Alot of these kids havent grown up at all!! & The new generation look up to those who have failed them-thier older siblings.

And That Arguement Is Just The Basis Of CULTURE, RELIGION Is Another Sheeko saxib..

Its going to take a while till there becomes a balance.. But InshaAllah.
