In my 13 years on this forum there has been number of times when I thought to myself that I must be in bizarro world where every man had lost his sanity, and this topic climbs its way to the top.

The only arguments that can be made here are whether or not the force used was relatively acceptable, or whether or not a person in public service should have behaved this way. But few, if anyone, is arguing either of those points. What seems be the issue raised here is gender. That shouldn't matter. An attack is an attack, regardless of who does it.
