I said it before, the fact that Miami THREW AWAY 2 games came back to haunt them. The more confidence the Mavs got and the closer to the finish line the more their veterens would rise to the occassion. Miami coulda made this a very, very short series.

Enough Said
"I want to be the first billion dollar athlete...I want to be a global icon" - Lebron James.

"I always wanted to be a basketball player. Nothing more, nothing less. I've never considered myself to be a brand." - Dirk

I got a little vindication tonight because four former Wizards (Caron, Haywood, Stevenson and Cardinal [he played in the Jordan years]) got their rings and three of them got their sweet revenge against LeTravel 8-)

I like Caron Butler but the rest of them are nothing but thugs and scrubs.

We will remember this...

I am still celebrating this win. :D Jason Kidd finally got it. Dirk Nowitzki finally got it. Dallas finally got a championship. I only feel sorry for Juwan Howard. I used to watch him when he played for Bulletz. It would have been nice if he was playing for the Mavericks.

The better team and organization won at the end.

Lebron and dwayne wade displayed such classless act when they mocked Nowitzki illness before game 6.

The Mavs played like champs, dirk and Terry were clutch when it mattered whilst Lebron has proven to being nothing short of talented mama's boy who when going gets tough suddenly breaks.

Texas has:

Houstan won 2
San Antonia won 4
dallas won 1

If they keep the same team they can repeat unless the Lakers make a big move and acquire Dwight. Highly unlikely though.

Yea its awesome they finally won, especially Jason Kidd. The Guys been playing for like 20 years and finally got one, especially being the starting PG. I don't think it would make a big difference if Juwan won one because He wasn't playing a real role. Also don't forget Shawn Marion (33), Peja Stoiacovic (35) and ofcourse Dirk.

Dirk in My opinion is gonna go down better than Barkley, Ewing, and others. He heads the class of the power forwards after Duncan, Malone. Although Stocton doesn't have a ring, I wouldn't put Him @ Stoctons level yet.

Real talk, I supported Miami for my own reasons, lakiin I'm not even upset that Dallas took the rings. Now last year, when LA won, i was double devastated...cuz the Celtics lost and even worse, Kobe and the Lakers won. That unfortunate tragedy still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, lakiin i can't hate on Dallas...not only did they deserve it and play like it, but J Kidd getting that jewelry was particularly LONG overdue. Nothing but the utmost respect for a guy who's 2nd all-time in assists, 3rd all-time in steals and 3rd all-time in 3-pointers made, behind Reggie Miller and Ray Allen who were standouts for their shooting beyond the arc. It's especially significant for J Kidd to be mentioned in the same breath as them for his shooting since he's not a 2-guar, and used to be nicknamed "-ason" since he didn't have a reliable J.

I'm also happy for Dirk...I used to clown on him even on snet for awhile, lakiin his work ethic, dedication and humbleness grew on me. Dude deserves the rings and he earned them. I think he's at least top 25 dead or alive, and his one-legged fadeaway is one of the hardest moves to guard in the history of the game. Even JET Terry is a funny lil dude and I can't hate on him getting a ring. Well done Dallas
