If someone throws a punch, they should understand the repercussions. There should be no legal issues here. A man was attacked with a punch, and he retaliated with a punch. It can be argued that the force used was disproportionate. Gender, however, is or at least should be a non-issue.

What I would do is completely irrelevant to what's happening here.

The victim becomes the perpetrator when he/she has gone beyond what is necessary to defend him/herself. When the attacker is retreating, is unable to defend any further retaliations, or has made an apology, but is still being hit. At least in my opinion.

Your "I hope she has male family members" is suggestive of an illegal retaliation against a man who defended himself, and we're the crazy ones? C'mon.

Alpha I'm a little flabbergasted by your idea of a man physically responding equally regardless of who his attacker is. I need you to put those critical legal studies books aside for a minute and logically tell me why do you think the forced used can be argued but the gender shouldn't be an issue.

As his attacker she was standing at least 5' away from him, when he stands up walks over to her and upper cuts her and yet you still see this man as the victim and not the perpetrator.

What you would do in that situation is as relevant as you having an opinion to the entire subject, so tell me would you hit a woman if she hits you first?

What's with the biiq ass niggas talking about he shouldn't hit her? The whole notion of men not hitting women is something I don't understand and definitely something I don't subscribe to because it is an idea that's not mutually practiced. If women practiced the same idea by not provoking men because they know men won't hit them, it would be cool. But if they don't practice it yet expect no repercussions after pullin' off some stupid shyt, then clearly they're mistaken. It doesn't matter who hits you, girl or boy; tit for tat. no crime should go unpunished and in short, that bitch deserved it and I think he did her a favor by letting her go breathing.
