PO, I think Siciid is mixing Somalia with Puntland, a federal state of the republic. Revenue wise i think Puntland is lagging behind Somaliland couple of years. With the spread of banking, atm machines, factories and other sizable industries, campaigns to collect taxes in a standardized way, and other reforms in Somaliland might make it harder for Puntland to narrow or close that gap.

Perfect_Order wrote:Sagaashan the butt of the Joke is that this is just revenue from the Port, not taxing any other buisnesses, not taxing tele-communications, not including revenue from Puntland, Central Somalia, Southern Somalia, Kismaayo. Then, we have to consider all the hundreds of millions of dollars that will be pumped into this government by International Donors.

What is this idoor on about? He wants to compare Gedo to Somaliland.

Alot of the revenue in Somaliland comes from Berbera port, thus what is your point? imagine when we build another port in Somaliland the revenue will double even more.
Who is comparing Gedo in Somalia to prosperous sovereign state Somaliland ? i wouldn't even compare Gedo with my left testicle so come out from your non-existing bubble.

Why are you lying. Somaliland's entire budget comes from European Union-UK governmental donations/charity to help stabilize Hergeisa.

http://blogs.ec.europa.eu/piebalgs/in-s ... velopment/
To be more precise, on-going, EU-funded programmes in Somaliland currently amount to approximately €62 million. There are 63 projects ongoing: 27 projects in the governance (€21.9 million); 13 projects in the education sector (€11.2 million); 13 projects in support to economic growth (€15.1 million); and 9 projects (€8.5 million) in other sectors (health, water and sanitation).
The European Union has been supporting Somaliland for years and I recently decided to give 175 million Euro of additional funding for entire Somalia; but around 70% of this money is foreseen to be spent in Somaliland and other areas of stability.

There you go folks. Thats one of the real owners of the City speaking. I think its disrespectful for us to even speak to the locust marexaans. Hell, its not like Gedo is offering anybody jobs. You guys should just shut and observe or like your prime minister bring tea and biscuits to your bosses.

Is for economical competition. Somebody said there are more Marexaans graduating in the USA than the whole of Somaliland. Well there are more Isaaq's in Sheffield than there is Marexaan in the whole of the USA. You guys talk of for the sake of talking. For a major tribe yours is at the bottom of the ladder. With nothing put a prime ministerial position to show for and that was donated by the generous abgals. We on the other hand are the leader tribe in the horn. The only one with a fully functioning democratic government. Your leader Godane who has you eating hyena's hails from us. The richest man in Somalia hails fro us. You eating :eat: whilst your eating hyenas and as pointed out behaving like savages by raping and killing. :sland:

^^Sky gaajadan rer Gedo maxaad kala hadlaysaa. Waxaan maqli jiray geel caruur qaaday ma foga. Cidaan Merehan waa iska dad dan yar oo xataa awoodi kari waayey hal High School in ay Gedo ka dhistaan iska ba daa Jaamacad And these people are supposedly graduating in droves from U.S Higher learning institutions like republic mentioned it and yet can't afford to fund one school for their children back home.

Siciid & Sagaashan,

The total revenue collected from SL tax payers doesn't even include the richest individuals and bussinesses. The government budget doesn't also include aid money which the EU/UK alone give some $200 million dollars in span of few years and someone also testified in some respects the berbera port taxes also do not include. The small year govt budget is a joke to say the least and does in no way reflect the total revenue that is available or not released by the govt.

I don't think you even know what you are talking about.God I hate people like this that rush to post something just to prove a point.

The S/LGovt budget DOES NOT include AID money.

you have to be first a recognized country tio get budget support, and you have to fully broke and bankrupt.
We dont have any unrepayable loans, and we dont get budgetry support..
so that means our budget is seperate from aid.
