Sure, their trash talking helped, but I think it was the backlash, pressure from the whole decision that weighed on Him. In addition Spoelstra openly admits now that in 2011 He 'Failed Lebron' coaching wise. He didn't feature Him enough in the offense and didn't take advantage of His talents.
Rick Carlisle outcoached Spoelstra. But its not surprise, Carlisle is one of the best coaches in the game. He had a lot of perimeter defenders and one of the best rim protectors in the game.

The Mavs also had so many three point shooters.

The Spurs are built in the same way, they just don't have the go-to scorer of Dirk as Parker is so hot and cold these playoffs.

Bitch ass Chandler. He used that 1 title to cash in big time and get Himself way overpaid by the retarded Knicks :pacspit:

If He was such a 'rim protector' He wouldn't get His ass handed to Him by a scrub like Hibbert

In 1984, the Celtics and Lakers did battle in that year's NBA Finals. The Celtics were 62-20 during the regular season while the Lakers were 54-28. The NBA welcomed a new commissioner in David Stern, replacing Larry O'Brien on April 1, 1984. The Finals that season was also the last time the Finals used the 2-2-1-1-1 format before going to the 2-3-2 format in 1985.

In 2014, the Spurs and Heat will do battle in this year's NBA Finals. The Spurs were 62-20 during the regular season and the Heat were 54-28. The NBA welcomed a new commissioner in Adam Silver on February 1, replacing David Stern. This Finals will be, for the first time since 1984, using the 2-2-1-1-1 format.

The funny thing is I think BOTH teams are better this year than last year. For the Heat, Dwayne Wade looks really good. For the Spurs, they are a lot deeper with Bellineli, Corey Joseph, etc. I'm with FAH I got Spurs in 6 PROVIDED Tony Parker is 100%. If He isn't the Spurs are toast.

Yeah, D-Wade being healthy makes the Heat better. I think their depth isn't as good as last year. But Cole, Birdman, Ray Allen, Rashard Lewis all played well the last few games. Birdman and Cole disappeared in the Finals last year though.

I think Parker isn't 100% and hasn't been the whole postseason since he sprained his ankle vs. the Mavericks. With that said, he had some monster games against DAL, PDX, and OKC regardless. He's going to have to take a shot or something and play with the pain. I don't think the ankle is as much of an issue as the hamstring he had in the Finals. But we'll see. Ginobili may have to play more PG and limit the turnovers.

Patty Mills and Corey Joseph are more than capable of doing different things to keep the Spurs in it but they need Parker because this is a series like the Dallas and Portland ones where he can go off as Chalmers can't guard him and if LeBron is put on him, Kawhi Leonard has developed his game to be more aggressive and get some buckets.
