Xoog,

I live in the same society that you live. It just surprised me that Cilmi Bowdheri is in the list of "The greatest Somali Ever". Why? How many Somalis fell in love.. and probably died for it? Sad How many more are suffering for it right at this moment?

Xoog,

Are you saying it does not exist or what Question

Haven't you noticed all the songs and poems about it? Every song had its roots on someone who tasted it. People may not advertise it but it was there and it is there now.... Haven't you ever seen someone in love?

The Warrior Bahdoon Diirine. He killed the German
Mercenary who did the actual border Demarcation. That border was coined as "Gawricii gumeysiga"

Xaji Aadan Afqalooc, He was a great poet. His poem in relevance to the death of Sheikh Bashiir who was related to Mohamed Abdule hasan was one of most the touching poems i have come across. Sheikh Bashiir was killed by the Britsh in Ulasan in 1948. The most horrid aspect of his death was that the colonial British placed his body in the middle of Burco street for a show 'like the Auto Show' in front of his people. They couldn't do nothing about it but to grieve and seethe inside .

Afqalooc said,

Duhur ba Bashiir lagu shannaqey, daar agtiinna ah'e
Damal la hadhgalaa bey jebsheen, waqye dulloobeen
Dahriga iyo laabtey rasaas, kaga daloosheene
Isagoo dam iyo dhiig leh, oo dogob ah oo meyda
Dadkii uu nebcaa iyo kufraa, daawashow yimide'e
