Empror,
Don't mind this donkey ina Baxaar , what do you expect when you mix Dhulos and Jibriil Abokor?
Sir Lugooyo,
The problem with southerns is that untill now few of them know the pollitics of Somaliland now and during the SNM years and during the union.
As soon as a southern begins talking about somaliland he confuses somaliland nationhood and claim with the civil wars in the north, what does the civil wars has todo with the outright rejection of the union as far as 1961 and the millitary coup of 1961.
Somaliland's quest to regain back its nationhood is older then the SNM ever since 1961 and 1974 during the excution of Neero the idea of bringing back the independence of somaliland was a dorment idea with the Isaaq intellectuals, and it has nothing to do with positions or making so and so as a president and etc or the war crimes as most southern like to depict somaliland aspirations.
You can seduce the Kumbos with 1 man position or a prime minister since Daarood has the habit of living of a single man and confuse nationhood with how many minestrial positions they had or should have.
The politics of Isaaq today is nothing short of a complete nation with its flag , milliteary, UN and AU memebership, making so and so president for 4 years is a Daarood carrot, Isaaq unlike the Kuumbos have chance of been a nation and stand alone as a memebr of the world commuinty.. why should they throw all that for a position such as a president or what have you???
Its silly how somalis think ,they still think with Afweyne mentality, no where in Somalia today the position of a president will enhance the power of any clan, those days are over and somalis have grown up, Daarood still think if the presidency was given to a man of their clan as before they will come to the Somali Chamber of Commerce wearing flip flopp and claim they lost 200 camels and as before they will be given a free loan to build Booli Qaran..
Kuumbos these days are over... read my shaft ..
and finally Sir Lugooyo, you should cease making a blunder by using the word " somaliweyn" for Xamar , niether Somaliland nor Somalia can be alone called Somaliweyn, somaliweyn is the 5 somalia , not Xamar as most of you today like to probegate.

aside from a few die hards, Somaliland would join Somalia if they were given enough concessions and if it were economically beneficial for them to do so.
Right now it doesn't make sense to be politically affiliated w/ the South. The South has nothing to offer.

Re: What would bring back Somaliland, if any?
When you say "Somaliland", i bet you really meant to say "Isaq-clan", but apparently you're stupid.<--that's for the started of this threat.
Anyhow, why beg for Iidoor to be back to Somalia. Isn't Somalia for everyone? I mean, there is no such thing called "Somaliland", other than "The Land of Somalis".
In 1988, Hawiye bombed Hargeisa & Burco. But, obviously Iidoor have a great Daaroodphobia, so they blammed Daarood for the destruction of Iidoorism.
The majority of the SNA (Somali National Army) were Hawiye, indicating the reason that they ousted Siyaad Barre, and killed many Daarood. If, and only If the majority of the ARMY was Daarood, all the weapons would be in the hands of Daarood during the civil war, but unfortuantely, they were in the hands of ignorant Hawiyes. I couldn't careless whether Somalia becomes Somalia or not. Cause for Daarood-clan, they're building up. For example, Jubbland is booming, and Puntland is booming too. Wheras Hawiye, and their city of Hell (Xamar) is falling and falling by the second into darkness and uncivlization.
Why do Daarood wanna go back to Xamar? What would they gain out of buildin Hawiye, other than being killed by the ones that they help (Hawiye)?
I think, Daarood is just plain dumb, cause Isaq-clan (Iidoor) has just refused to be back with Hawiye in Xamar, cause Hawiye possess such a great hatred for any clan that is not them, and any clan that is build. I think Cade Muse (Puntland's fuucked-up president) is Hawiye, because he wants sooo bad to be working with Hawiye, after Hawiye deliberatly killed and dragged so many Majeerteens in Xamar couple of months ago, despite the civil war era.
Fuuck Hawiye..Fuuck Xamar..Fuuck Iidoor.
Long live Daarood & their LANDS/ Territories.

Heck, at least Darood just has two groups. You have Harti/Lelkasse in the North and Sade in the south. Both Harti and Lelkasse are doing great jobs in the North, and Cabudwaq and Balanbale are on the rise
. If Sade and Harti were to come together great things could happen.

Re: What would bring back Somaliland, if any?
Luq, wallle u are much mor better than majority of Majeerteens & Mareexaans in here. You've seen what Daarood as a whole can accomplish and that if we come together, we can literally create our own Daarood-rule country, the same way Isaq(iidoor) wants to get a country that is all Isaq (Iidoor).
To my fellow Mareexaans, take Luq_Ganane as a example, same goes for the Majeerteens.
