Re: One Thing To Avoid...
Kambuli,
Those that are healthy
I am very healthy abayo. I just don't want to be related to certain qabiils by blood.
Its one thing to have friends from a certain qabiil and another to be related to them.
I even discriminate in my choice of a Sacad woman to marry: she has to be pedigree meaning at least 3 generations Sacad on both sides (Aabe & Hooyo)
Luq,
Saxiib, Sacad have lived next to the Darood for eons. We moved into Mudug and began our expansion which ultimately separated the Marexan and Majeerten from sharing borders in Mudug.
My Abgaal friend always kids around and says when he argues with the Daroods at the Fahdi Ku Diirir "War ninki Sheydan aarke miyu jooga? all because I can understand how the Darood think and operate."

KAMBULI ,
Cisman Ali Xasan Caato = Dhulbahante, Eelay wives
Maxamed Qanyare = Darood wife - Wa ninka marka la weediye, "Darood ka xiishow so xirir igama dhaxeeyo ?"
Qanyare replies maya, "Gu.us ba no dhaxeeya !'
Focking Qanyare

A/Wahab,
Now tell me about the "Gree Line" in Galkacyo? How does it work? What happens if a Sacad goes to the Cumar Mahmud side, or a Lelkasse goes to the Sacad side and so forth. Also in the Galkacyo atrocities by USC, wern't Qeybadids people essentially killing their cousins, aunts and 'ina abtis' etc. because of the heavy intermarriage?

Re: One Thing To Avoid...
Luq,
U have to understand the history of the Sacad & Cumar Maxmud.
During the crackdown on SSDF 1981-1986, hundreds of Cumar Maxmud fled Majeertenia and were hosted by their Sacad relatives especially the women and children while the men fled into Ethiopia to become SSDF.
After the Siyaad and the Majeerten made peace, the Majeerten convinced Siyaad to support an attack on the very same Sacad who had hosted them during the SSDF rebellion.
In 1989, the Majeerten along with Col. Dhagabecyr & his Somali National Army attacked the Sacad villages and massacred hundreds of Sacad. They looted and burned villages.
After that the Sacad joined the USC and overthrew the regime.
In Feb, 1991, the fighting broke out again and thats when Qeybdiid returned to Galkacyo to destroy the SSDF
By then there was no INA ABTI jaceel left in Mudug.

A/wahab,
Ok, then tell me about the "Mudug/Galkacyo agreement" and how does the "Green Line" in Galkacyo work?

Luq,
Greenline is simple:
Don't cross it without an escort
The Galkacyo agreement ensures that no fighting occurs between the Sacad and Majeerten and has held for the better part of 14 years

^^
If you cross, then your liable to get shot, robbed or whatever I guess?
So are there people on either side asking the qabil of whoever comes from whichever side?

Re: One Thing To Avoid...
marrying the same tribe doesn't guarantee anything I've seen plenty of divorces to know that.
And since kambuli assured me that she won't run off with our children to the Haud at the first argument my mother will be reassured she will be able to see her grandkids
