Heres a history lesson it was the rulers of Warsangeli Country that was dubbed Maakhir by historic traders. What is known as Sanaag was never refered to as prior to Somalia. Again it is well known that Warsangelis havent given much for the political situation of Sanaag in either SL or PL, prior only two seats were allocated for Sanaag before the fall of the Somali Republic. They were only Warsangeli.

The geo-political standing of the former Sanaag now Maakhir includes several inhabitants who hail from various clans. I have not said otherwise, as long as these clans serve the interset of developing their our region they are just as much a Maakhirian as would be if they were not a Warsangeli.
