Re: Spurs v Arsenal
Big deal! Spurs are in the final of the Crappy-Cup! No1 cares about the CC, thats probably why man u havent got to the final for 2 seasons in a row. Beacuse its a pointless competition. Spurs beat Arsenal 4 the 1st time since 1999 and they act like they just won the league. Arsenals priorities lie with the league, destroying AC milan come febuary and the game with newscastle on saturday. what have spurs got 2 look foward to? Getting thrashed by chelsea or everton? Trying to climb they're why up the prem in order to get into the pathetic uefa cup?
lool, united deserved a bit of luck then.
On another note, can you honestly say ronaldo is not the best player in the world, based on current form?
He is the best player in the world.
I can understand why Kaka got the award but surely he shouldn't have come 3rd after Lionel Messi.

Thats right.
Spurs are wank. Their fans are wankers. I'll put a tenner on them losing in the final against the rent boys.

Damn right bro, 3rd was a disgrace. I would even argue that ronaldo is more consistent than Kaka

Re: Spurs v Arsenal
Horta, how come World Player of the Year rarely comes from the Premiership? Is this conspiracy or the Premiership is overrated AND lacks talent?

Yeah you right.
Henry should've won in 2004 but he got robbed I swear.
Ronaldo should've won in 2007 but he was unlucky.
Bergkamp has never won it. Disgrace.

Re: Spurs v Arsenal
Bro the premiership is probably the best league right now. But world player of the year is more or less based on the champions league and the performances in major national championships, such as the world cup and the european championships. Rarley does a british player or a premiership player play well in this.
But mark my word, if ronaldo continues like this then he will be crowned world player of the year next year.

Re: Spurs v Arsenal
lets hope this humliating defeat will have effect on their league matches.
Re: Spurs v Arsenal
Nothing big they have beaten our youngster with their best line up. You know Arsenal have them for breakfast if it was the premiership.

Lol@ all the Spurs haters...we just went through rough times but we can finally see the blue sky as the grey clouds have dissapeared.....who cares if Spurs haven't beaten Arsenal sinds '99...........They won this time by 5-1....that's ridiculous.....Arsenal has never defeated them by such a large margin......anyways......Arsenal is history.....next stop Chelsea.

Lol Mj.....i thought you were from the States so football should be of no interest to you.
I know we're not going to go on and win anything, that's just the reality.
Let me enjoy my self....we might not be able to beat Arsenal for another 9 years.

Re: Spurs v Arsenal
Actually, Spurs are emerging side under Ramoz. They always had potential, but haven't realized their potential until now. The Yids always played good under Jol, but they couldn't get over the hump because of Jols conservative approach. Ramoz is building something special at White Lane imo. Roll on the Arsenal and Spurs rivalries!
Ps, When I came to London back in 2002, I get hooked Arsenal after one of my friends got me a ticket to see Arsenal take on Charlton. Since that day, I am a gooner
