I as person believe in the impact of race and its implications on our mental and material wellbeing and it is all relative in place, time, and history. An American white who knows not of your origin and language would lump you up with African Americans just because your colour is dark or light dark. This even happens to the dark Indians who came to this country as a result of globalization. Whereas the whites from different nationalities have mingled up to form a distinct identity derived from a perceived status, others like African Americans kept their racial distinctness and this physical survival have in many ways led to their seclusion and discrimination. Consequently, a first generation American from Europe would have enormous access to great opportunities unavailable to the blacks or probably someone who is fresh off the boat would look down on them despite the fact that there over more poor whites proportionally than the whole Black-Americans
