What a beutifull place to live!!!
I will move there without doubt.
The funny thing is, we been surounded by all that eye catching beuty all our lives but false hope in another man's land blinded us from appriciating Allah's countless blessings in the maother land.
Even now if one were to ask a nomad living in the pictures area dibadaa ma ku geeya, he/she will give u a capital YES without a second guese.
When people are thankfull to what Allah has given them, he will increase it in abundance but when they turn away and aren't thankfull, they are bound to be doomed and slave for others. just like us.

Re: If Somalia Became Peaceful Tomorrow
I'll go back live the simple life and become a sheik. I plan on saving up some money before I go so try to help rebuild it. Make running water possible. I got farms in Afgooye, should be able to live off that.
Finish the Quran, for once, been learning it for over 10 years and still not done. I don't think u can finish the Quran in the west.

Re: If Somalia Became Peaceful Tomorrow
I don't see myself ever moving back to Somalia. I'd probably visit the place every now and then, but moving there for good?! Hell nah.

Even if somalia is peaceful, what will you do there? There is no job ,and no job means no life. Look at ghana, countries in north africa, turkey. Its safe but no job. Many people from these countries are in europe.Dont think only about peace. Visiting somalia during holidays is nice...
For everyone who said they would go back, how about the massive adjustment you'd have to make? The technology in Africa in general is not close to what it is in the West and simple things like drinking water straight from the tap wouldn't be possible (you have to boil the water back home before drinking it or you can get sick since under 30% of Somalia has safe drinking water), not to mention all the hazardous waste dumped in our country during the last 17 years...also, the entertainment industry is virtually non-existant compared to here, which we're all used to on a daily basis
Sxb trust me if there is any peace all those things you mentioned can be resolved within the first couple of years.. Plus a lot of private companies will rise from all over the place to bring you all the things your used to here in the west, satellite tv, internet and clean water.
If anything the biggest problem would be the people.. I dont know if you have been to Somalia lately but the people are a headache.. They love to get into people's personal lives and they ask way too many question..People who you just met couple of hours ago will ask if they can use your passport. Their prideful and hard headed. These are people who have had no government for the last 17 years.. They pick their noise in public while trying to hold your hand..
But anything is better than raising our kids in a kafir country..

Amish's live a simple peaceful life in America and are happier as a community than any other Americans. Why can't Somalis who live in concrete the jungle projects in the west, and traditionally were nomads who lived a simple healthy life in Somalia reject the idea of a simple peaceful life? Watching Hollywood movies, Youtube, CNN or MTV doesnt make you happy and is designed for cultural colonialism reasons and not for entertainment.

s is why Hawiyeaha are better than a lot of Marexaanka and Ogadeen because the Hawiye in Shabeelaha all farm, and the OG/MR in Gedo/Jubboinka only do it when they have to. Geel yaasha Gedo and Jubboinka waa in laga kaxeeyo meesha, lool.
The Hawiye in Shabelle don't farm or atleast the ones that came now don't they force the jareer to farm.
D&M and jareer are the clans that farm, u nomads should try learning it, its a lot more profitable than being a nomad.
Shirib,
The HG that came from Galgudud don't farm ofcourse but the Abgal of middle, lower shabelle farm bigtime and Xawaadle farm in Beledweyn. Did You see Twisted Logic's plantations down there? lol..

looooooooooooooooool at picking nose and holding hand. But I agree 100%. All the problems with the sanitation, clean water etc. can be improved to livable levels very early. Inshallah it is in my plans to move back to Somalia one day, teach Quran etc. but I also want to be able to improve the lives of people there while I'm there, and that will get me the admiration of people there and they'll listen to me when I tell them to do good things. A series of good, sound projects to imporve the quality of life for people there would be my goal and I have some preperation to undergo before I'm able to do something of that magnitude.
Emperior,
Hadi runta la sheego, if You invest in some farming equipment, buy a landcruiser You can get a huge farm outside of Baardhere for free by just claiming it. Infact the NGO's in that area would be very happy that You're doing that and would probably help You. They've been trying to get people there to farm for Years, laakin only some do, lol. This is why Hawiyeaha are better than a lot of Marexaanka and Ogadeen because the Hawiye in Shabeelaha all farm, and the OG/MR in Gedo/Jubboinka only do it when they have to. Cadallah,
Do it before some fat azz Khaleej Carabs claim it before You, loool
If you can start decent size farm and grow bananas and other Somali fruits there is money to made on the export market. Major money. It is also a great investment. I know farms that are selling for 4 million USD in Shabelle wallahi

Re: If Somalia Became Peaceful Tomorrow
IF somalia became peaceful tomorrow i will be sad. :( It will mean no more somalis will die in great numbers. I do really believe in depopulation via civil war and starvation, somalis anarchy has helped that.
