Starscream, ina adeer, don't buy the bullshid Siyad barre was Darood....he was never Darood; He was not a Darood in 1969, 1978, or 1991. Let's drop the hypocricy, let's tell the truth about Siyad Barre and his crimes against Somalis.

Voltage,

Get jealous with about the Marxum who planted the seeds for Somalia's destruction :|

The only two Presidents who have the respect of all Somalis and were genuinely missed and wept for were Presidents Aden Abdulle Osman and Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke

Abdiwahab, all Somalis know that before Siad Barre all you as a Habar Gidir could ever amount to was being Majeerteen's hair cutter. We already know Cabdillahi Ciise and how he got to where he got but do you know his father would have been killed by Majeerteen if it wasn't for his mom. Cabdullahi Ciise's dad forgot to bring the usual alotment of goats he was to supposed to pay to the Majeerteen and e would have had his ears chopped off if his "Darood" wife did not throw herself at him and the Majeerteen let him go.

That is your history before Siyaad.

There are no secrets among Somalis and you sxb are a farce.

There are three groups that cannot talk about pre-Siyaad days.

Habar Gidir, Midgaan, and Shaanshi/Bantu. Even Raxanweyn had power and were recognized as a people.

When Siyaad said "Siinaan", "Equality"...it was meant for Habar Gidir, Midgaan, and Shaanshi. :(

Siad = Saddam. In my view.

There will always be those who hate them..and those who view them as heroes..

Someone better lock this thread..before it reaches at point where its of no benefit to either group.

May god bless all the dead muslims. :somalia:

Every time we talk about crimes Siyad Barre committed against Somalis, suddenly conversation is changed to Daroodism! Why? Why can't we discuss Siyad Barre as individual?

Oh snap, the alarm was tripped in come the Barre Apologists.

Voltage,

Stop with your fairy tales. It was Abdulahi Cisse who saved Siyad Barre from losing his job after Siyaad went to his mother asking her to help him out. Abdullahi Ciise saved his "Abti" Siyaad's job and what did Siyaad BArre do after the 1969 revolution but arrest Abdullahi Ciise !

SDM,

Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke and Aden Abdulle were true Somali heroes and men worthy of God Bless from all Somalis.

As for Caydiid and Barre, these men had Somali blood on their hands. They were not leaders of all Somalis but men who were rulers by the gun.
