I don't live in america but i think that the black man is stuck in time, iff the black man realy wanted to make someting off his life instead off dealing drugs and making rap music he could. I believe that you can do anything you want in life the black man is just extreamly selfish, lazy and has no trust in him self what so ever.

I can agree with most of this. Many black men lack confidence.

Fah1223, Abti, If you use objective parameters, you would understand that both Fed and State stand in the way of black communities because it is the Fed that subsidizes corporations and bails them out. In Capitalist system, small businesses can't thrive or grow and the reason is that these companies use "Economies of Scale" to drive them out of business. Therfore, everyone is forced to become an an Employee either for the state or for these major corporations. IF you don't have a job, you won't be able to pay your bills and if you dug yourself into deep holes like accruing too much debts or having criminal background, your life will be hard.

InshAllah, you will realize what I am talking about, and don't compare the Black America with Immigrants. Immigrants came to this country to work hard and succeed. They are determined and they have Norms and beliefs that insulates them from stupid entrapments.

Its a sad but terrible thing Thats been happening since the black family structure was broken down in america over 400 years ago.

In America Black people were not even allowed to get married to each other in till the late 1800s.

Black men were legally forbidden to protect their women in till the 1960s.

Black men were not allowed the the type of well paying jobs needed to care for a family in till the 1960s. Affermative action was more of a benefit to black women than black men. Thats still true today.

In the 70s and late 80s black men were unfairly targeted buy the law and then put through an unjust legal system there buy screwing up any chance at ever being a good provider.

Im not one to play the blame game and black folks do need to get their sh!t together but with facts and statistics like these why are so many people shocked and surprised by the state of american black families today?

This is what i meant i know there are differnces between us somali people and other blacks but at the end off the day we are black ..... !!!!!! But is it right that just because we are al little different than other blacks we should look down on them? No that's not fair we should try to help and educate and teach them about our beautifull deen ... instead off saying WE ARE NOT BLACK!!!
