Cawar,

@ Bajun/Cagdheer.............. what a weird combination
I don't wanna put words into their mouths, I want them to respond but so far, no one and nothing is forthcoming, so anyone can derive a conclusion from that and it will be valid.
Guhaad,
I heard a different version of that story, don't know which is authentic. I heard that Caydiid was in sync with Tuur and Jees and wanted the play the game as was the plan, but he was hijacked by some elders who were calling themselves "Manifesto" and made the whole thing Hawiye v Daarod

I think your forgetting the fact that Captain's clan was disarmed in 1969 and closely watched ever since by Afweyne leading up to 1991...This was a fact Sr. Caydiid was fully aware off which is why he took the fight to MJ country. Now the odds are on MJ favor, this people have been gearing up since 1998 - using Villa Puntland and now Villia Somalia...I'm telling if it ever comes to an out all war MJ's won't be a pushover this time around.

Sir Lugooyo;
I know the Jereerteen-led Manifesto group had other agends in mind, but Caydiid was the leader of the United Somali Congress. He should have known better. He was taken over by emotions and sentiments and they played him big time. Remember that Muqdish was almost intact when Siyad Barre left and because of Caydiid's policies; the city is a ghost place today and focking Amxaaroos levelled down the remaining few walls and the people.

Marax;
Jees waa halyeey Absame; the only problem: Tolkii baa hagraday.
When he was the Absame leaders, the Abames were the major power in the entire South except Muqdisho. I am talking about Bay, Bakool, Jubooyinka and even Gedo. We just let him down and that is the reason our main city, Kismaayo, is the host for insects imported from Caabud-Waaq and Wasmo-Xun environs.

First of all who is Hawiye horta?? Abdiwahaab said Hawiye are 60% of somalia, the only Hawiye of any numbers are Hiraab mainly H.G and Abgaal, and those don't even number 1 million.
The problem with Hawiye is that they use Irir card for number reason, Xawaadle are Irir not Hawiye, Gaaljecel are Irir not Hawiye, Baadi Cade are Irir not Hawiye, Dagoodi are Irir not Hawiye, and Sheekhaal is niether Hawiye nor Irir. Hawiye are inflated exagerated little clan.
The only reason they are mentioned at all is because they occupie the former capital after ethincally cleansing the minorities like Cawaro and Shirib and Kushite folks. The problem most southern somalis make is making the capital Xamar, just change the capital and let Hawiye compete in check points for life. If the capital was changed to Baydhabo southern Somalia would have been a legitmate goverment by now.

Hawiye is not united and has never been united. Every Hawiye sub sub sub-clan wants to become the rulers of Somalia unlike the Daarod where you have only the habash-worshipping Majirten contending in their name. All the other Daarod clans have been sidelined by them and have no ambition of leading Somalia. This was evident in Mbagathi where yeey was running against 100 Hawiye men. Even the Dhulmahante god-father, Ali Khalif Galaydh could not dare run because yeey handpicked everyone of the Dhulmahante MPs...so he had no chance of getting elected since even his own Dhulmahante have submitted to the Majirten.
No Hawiye is willing to submit to another, and am not saying this is a good thing but it is the truth. Compromise is something Hawiye haven't yet discovered. We have been fighting against each other for 17 long years and no one was able to subdue the other. That is before xafidullah Sheikh Dahir Aweis did the unthinkable and cleansed the warlords from Hawiye land. And instead of those warlords accepting defeat and linning behind the man who the majority of their people wanted to lead them, what did they do? They ran to Baidoa and submitted to the worst of the dooro.

This coming from Isaaq. Hiraab alone number more than the Daarod that settle inside Somalia, forget about the rest of Hawiye. Daarod number more than your Isaaq clan. Isaaq can compete with Abgaal or HG.
The reality is, Hawiye is the most populous clan in Somalia followed by Daarod. Question Hawiye's intelligence but never dare question Hawiye's numbers especially if you are Isaaq.

What does Hawiye want? I mean when it comes to the state of the motherland. Do you guys have an agenda, strategy and destination?
I will state my reasons of asking it but for now, let's focus on the question.
Haiwy themselves cannot answer that question, so how do you expect us to know what makes Hawiye tick?

Air Baantu,
thats the talk but where is the prove?? why if you are that many collect little Iirir clans and call them hawiye?? only laangaabs need numbers, hawiye are the only clan in somali who is 70% of its memebers are Irir and not Hawiye, Sheekhaal, Xawaadle, gaaljecl, dagoodi, ajuuraan, etc.
Hawiye are exagerated little laangaabs,tell me 1 single original hawiye land where the population is more then 50,000?
and don't bother comparing yourself to a sub-clan of Isaaq , the largest 4 cities in of all somalia are 2 Isaaqs and 2 for the rest of somalis be it Baantu or the Oromo daarood.

Only Jowhar is 100.000, lets not mention Beledweyne, Merca, Dhusomareeb, Galkacio, and Mogadishu.
