SPM was with USC! Cumar Jees was working with Caydiid. So what caused the USC and SPM to turn on their Rahanwein ally?

When Axmed Cumar Jees came to Baidoa the Raxaweyne were unarmed.
Axmed Cumar jees Armed Raxaweyn and told them to form SDM.
Raxaweyn turned on the the Ogaden and started killing Darood.
When the Ogaden left the Raxaweyne attacked the fleeing Marexan folks.
So when Marexan went to Gedo they came back and revenged the killing by giving Raxaweyn a vital lesson.
Then Caydid came and karbashed Raxaweyn.
It was like a compounded Karma that the folks in Baidoa received.

Abdiwahab, I don't mean to go off topic but why was the reason Ceydiid turned on just about everyone that worked with him to overthrow the government? From Rahanwein, to Cumar Jees to Cali Mahdi, he went to war with. He even went to war with the Xawaadle who were his most hardcore supporters after his own habargedir subclan.

QansaGabeyle,
When you are on top, everyone wants to challenge your authority.
Caydiid (AUN) did not go to war with Cumar Jess (it was Ali Mahdi's group), nor with the Raxanwein (who broke into 2 factions, one ProSNA and the other AntiSNA). Caydiid (AUN) never had a deal with Ali Mahdi and it was Cali Mahdi who provoked a war with him.

Shirib, what is the use of rekindling this topic when you exactly are aware that this is going to turn in to a clan-based topic.
What is even more low is mis-using the pictures just to score a cheap point by alleging that whole clans were behind that made-made famine when certain individuals and their supporters where the main source of this tragedy.
The main source of the triangle of death was based on Caydiid's miscalculation. He thought he could prevent SNF from returning to Xamar by cutting off the food supplies, but instead starved the innocent Raxanweyns.
Robert Rotberg writes in "
State Failure and State Weakness in a Time of Terror" the following about this:
"On a strategic level, Aideed needed to ensure that no one would return to Mogadishu to reclaim homes and possessions allocated to Aideed's commanders and loyalists. When the international humanitarian community discovered the desperate situation of the IDP camps in the "triangle of death", they found that it was Aideed who had cut the supply of food to those camps. The penury of the camps' inhabitants, mostly composed of women and children who belonged to Siad Barre's officials, as well as local Rahanweyn oppoenents, was essential to Aideed. It ensured that in their weakened condition, they would not be able to return to Mogadishu. Aideed and his allies did not plan on foreign military intervention to provide food to the families of the losers in Mogadishu's civil strife. Closing the warehouses to the humanitarian community and allowing the people in the camps to starve was a serious miscalculation on Aideed's part. "
